Case #48068490. Ricco was born 10/16/16. Ricco was recently surrendered to the shelter due to the health of his owner, he was no longer capable of taking care of him. Ricco is an older and therefore pretty chill guy. He's housetrained and he walks nicely on a leash. He's a big boy but gentle. We have not yet tested him with other dogs so if you have another fur baby at home, bring him by for a meet and greet to see how they do together. We're sure Ricco would like to live out his golden years in a loving home rather than at the shelter. This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00 cash or check only.

Frank is a 3-year-old hound/black cur mix with the soul of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. He’s a big boy with an even bigger heart. He is calm, mellow, and wonderfully easygoing. Frank is the definition of a low-key companion who’s happiest just being by your side. Nothing seems to ruffle Frank’s feathers. He’s been exposed to cats and couldn’t care less about them, making him a great option for a multi-pet household. Found out in the country, Frank has adjusted beautifully to foster life and has done wonderfully with his potty training. Frank is currently learning leash manners and does best walking with a harness. He’s making steady progress and enjoys his walks at a relaxed, unhurried pace. If you’re looking for a gentle, chill, and loyal companion who will bring calm and comfort into your home, Frank may be your perfect match.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.  Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.  We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.  For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm test (6 months and older) microchipped and  flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate.
