Maggie is pure sunshine. Her larger than life personality always comes with a smile and a big helicopter tail wag! She is affectionate, social, and full of joyful, goofy energy. She loves being around people!She’s a big fan of toys, Kongs, chews, treats, running around, and of course, cuddling up after she’s burned off some energy. Maggie recently lost her person and is ready to find a loving home where she can be cherished and doted on again.Because of her strength and exuberance, Maggie would do best with someone who can provide structure and consistency. We think she could do well with kids, but she may accidentally knock over smaller ones while she’s still learning her boundaries. With the right guidance, she has all the potential to be an incredible family dog. Maggie does well with larger dogs, though her play style can be a bit strong and enthusiastic, so she’ll do best with confident canine companions who can match her energy. She’s smart and responsive, especially when given clear, firm guidance, and will benefit from continued training to help her channel all that excitement into good manners.Age: 3 yearsWeight: 96 poundsOther Dogs: Good with others- strong player, can be overwhelming at times. Cats: Interested, slow intros recommended Kids: Children over 8Home Type: semi active home, enjoys exercise, someone who can help her lose a few poundsLeash Behavior: Working with staff on loose leash training Commands: sit, knows her name, down, kind of knows Shake Does well in cars/vansClean on both sides of kennel- indicating she is house trained.
