Story
Hi! My name is ROSIE and I am looking for my new home!II am a super sweet, affectionate 4 + year old gal and I weigh 65 pounds. Based on my DNA results, I am 75% Rhodesian Ridgeback and 25% German Shorthaired Pointer mix (see my DNA results picture).House trained! Crate trained! Leash trained! I am a very loving, friendly, and snuggly with my people and I often follow my people around. Whenever I see my family, I wags my whole backend with excitement.:)When I am not snuggling on the couch with my family, I love to play or go on a walk. Spending time playing or going on a walk/jog with me helps gets my playful energy out. I am an athletic energetic girl who has even had some training jumping obstacles! When I meet new people that arent my family members, I can come across as aloof but give me a little time to adjust and then I quickly warm up they will become my people too and my personality will shine!I really prefer to be the only dog in the home. Also, no cats please! I have lived with older children in my foster home and I get along with neighborhood children and visiting family members. On walks, I tend to get along with most dogs my size when properly introduced but do not do well with smaller or medium sizes dogs. For that reason, I should have a fenced yard where I can run and play.Although I am a big girl, I love laps and sure like to cuddle! Did I mention that I love walks and playing? Afterwards, I love to relax and snuggle with you! As much as I love my comfy foster home, I am looking for my forever home! My foster family can answer any questions you might have. Wont you please come meet me? Love,ROSIE***As long as our dogs are on the website they are available. Applications can be found at CanineCollective.org***

Story
Hi I’m Grace and I’m ready to be your new best friend! I am full of energy and incredibly curious. I love to play outside, chew on everything I can get my teeth on, and cuddle on laps at the end of the night. I love hanging out with humans and fur animals alike. I get along with my dog foster sister and my cat foster brother! Since I am so young, I am still potty training and crate training. But I am a quick learner! I will need a family who will be dedicated to training me and give me plenty of exercise. I also will need to continue to be socialized with other dogs, so I think I would like to attend a doggie daycare if I could. I am so ready to meet my new family. She is looking for an active family who will take her on lots of walks and give her plenty of exercise. She loves taking walks and loves being out and about exploring the outside world! She LOVES to be outside playing! She is looking for a family to give her a lot of fun adventures around the city! She is working on potty trained, but will need consistency to continue her progress. She is a smart girl and is showing progress each day learning a lot! She is working on her puppy commands and manners. She will need a patient, consistent family to continue her training. She will ready for puppy classes when she is adopted. She is a very confident puppy and has a very strong willed personality, so she would do best with an experienced owner who is ready to have an awesome puppy in their lives! We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes. If you live an active lifestyle and are ready to bring this lovable girl into you home, please apply to meet her. Please fill out an adoption application at PetPromise.org We only adopt out in Columbus, Ohio area only. $400 adoption fee

Story
Pacino is a 1 year old sweet black mouth cur girl we rescued from a situation that would have claimed her life. She is resilient. She is a cuddler. She loves our pack but we can’t keep her because we have our hands with 4 other furbabies. She has high energy. She is a sporting/hunting breed. She would love to chase birds, squirrels, fish etc. Not sure she would be good with cats. Prob best as an only furbaby because she would love all the love. She loves kids. Could totally see her living her best life in the country or at least be able to have a nice size fenced in yard to run and leap like a gazelle in. Leash training is slow but better. She is a bit of a puller. When she pulls… we stop…she sits then we move forward. She has gotten better. It’s hard when there are squirrels and other critters because her natural tendency is to chase them. We love her dearly and want the best for her unfortunately we just are too overwhelmed with 4 other pups to be able to keep her.
