Story
Meet Ami! Due to overcrowding, Miss Ami was scheduled for euthanization but we were able to "pull" this very sweet girl and she is now fully vetted and ready for adoption! Ami is a 53 pound, three-year-old (approximate DOB 03/12/21) Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She is crate and potty-trained. Ami does well with other dogs, cats and children but due to her playful nature, we recommend she go to a home with older children only because she is dangerous with that tail of hers (lol). Children MUST be well versed in their animal manners. Ami does require a 6' fenced yard, as she is a fence jumper and would clear a 4' fence. Ami is great on a leash and loves to go on long walks. She is doing super with basic commands. Her foster mom calls her "Wiggle Butt". Ami loves, loves, loves her people, is quite the cuddle bug, and would make a great addition to almost any home/family. Story
Jaime is a handsome guy who is ready for adoption. He is: · Smart – knows “sit.” · Friendly. · Easy to walk on a leash. · Good with other dogs during leashed encounters (hasn’t joined playgroups yet). · Playful. Jaime was found as a stray and was not reclaimed. Shelter staff have been working with him on manners and boundaries because he got rowdy and nipped during play sessions. He has been very responsive to training using positive reinforcement methods. Despite his tremendous progress, he needs an experienced dog owner and a home without small children. Apply to adopt him now!
