Story
Pickle is a dog-friendly boy who prefers calm, polite companions—especially older or lower-energy dogs. He enjoys canine company but thrives best in a relaxed environment. He has not been cat tested at this time. Pickle walks nicely on leash and carries himself with a very calm, easygoing demeanor. He keeps his kennel clean and has not shown any signs of food aggression. He is currently in need of heartworm treatment, and adopters should be prepared to follow veterinary guidance to support his recovery. Pickle truly loves people and wants to be wherever you are—he’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room like your little shadow. Story
Paprika is a special girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can truly blossom. She can be dog selective and will need slow, proper introductions to new canine friends. With the right approach and guidance, she can build positive relationships at her own pace. Paprika is timid with new people and takes time to feel completely comfortable. She’s not the type to instantly jump into someone’s arms—but once she trusts you, her affectionate and loving personality really shines. Because of her sensitive nature, she will need a home with children 15 years or older who can respect her space and allow her to warm up gradually. She walks nicely on a leash with minimal corrections and enjoys getting out to explore. Paprika is always ready for an adventure and loves experiencing new things with her people, whether it’s a walk in a new park or a weekend outing. At home, Paprika is a BIG cuddle bug. Once she bonds with you, she adores being close and soaking up affection. And when she’s feeling happy and comfortable, she shows off the cutest zoomies that are guaranteed to make you smile. Paprika will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. In return, she will offer deep loyalty, sweet cuddles, and a joyful, adventurous spirit.

Story
Rocky is a very sweet, affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is dog friendly and falls into the EXTRA friendly category — he genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs and does well in social settings. Rocky has not been cat tested at this time. He has started kennel training and is doing well so far. With consistency and a regular routine, he should continue to make great progress. Rocky is good on leash, though due to his enthusiasm, a no-pull harness is strongly recommended to help make walks more enjoyable for both him and his handler. When it comes to food, Rocky is not food aggressive, but to set him up for success, it is recommended that he be fed separately from other pets. Rocky has a hyper, playful side, especially when he’s excited, but the great news is that he calms down very easily and responds well to redirection and structure. He’s the kind of dog who just needs a little outlet for his energy and then is happy to relax and be close to his people. He is approximately 91% potty trained and continues to improve. With a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement, he should be fully reliable in no time. Overall, Rocky is a loving, enthusiastic dog who would thrive in a home that can provide guidance, exercise, and lots of affection. He has so much love to give and is eager to be someone’s companion.
