Story
Meet Jack! This guy here is a bundle of energy. He loves to run around and do zoomies. Once he has exhausted his energy, he does like to hang out and relax on the couch for lots of scratches and love. He is house trained. He does know some simple commands such as sit and stay. Will hand you his paw, if requested. We believe he was a homeless man's dog, and for whatever reason, he had to abandon him. But you can tell he was very loved and no signs of abuse. He is great with other dogs but tends to be a little hanzy with his paws. Loves to give all the other dogs lots of kisses. But will quickly sit if told to. No experience with cats, but i'm sure he will be fine. He does great with my grandchildren who are super young. He is now an inside dog and lives the comforts of inside.

About a year ago, we took in this beautiful 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur after she was found as a stray. We've worked incredibly hard to help her succeed, including working with a professional trainer, consulting with a behaviorist, doing slow, neutral introductions, and providing consistent structure and training. Unfortunately, despite all of those efforts, she has not been able to peacefully coexist with our resident female dog. We believe she would thrive as the only dog in the home or possibly with a confident, dominant male dog after a proper introduction. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves her people. I don't know how she does with children.

Story
Dixon was dumped with his littler on the side of the road in 2022 as a puppy and I have had him since. A while ago, my husband and I relocated and our living situation has changed. I unfortunately have been naive thinking Dixon would be fine but as he is still only 4, he is not getting the play time or exercise he needs, we no longer have time to give him the attention he needs or the space. He is very very sweet, he’s always been extremely playful with all of the dogs he’s been around, even males.
