Ziva was found as a stray at about 8 weeks old. We estimate her birthday to be 12/25/2024. She loves to snuggle and play fetch. She has been military trained to walk on your left side. She kennels well if you need to leave the house.

At just 3 years old and 55lbs, Roseanne came to us as a stray, found walking down the street. She was sweet and easy to leash from the start, and she’s been just as easygoing ever since. She loves heading out for trail walks with our volunteers, keeps a great pace and seems to be house trained. Roseanne’s favorite thing is being close to her people. She loves to snuggle, constantly wants to be pet and will happily rub her head all over you to make sure you don’t forget she’s there. She’s calm when approached at her kennel and has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes her incredibly easy to love. Roseanne is overall a low-energy girl who enjoys her walks but is just as happy spending time with her person. She has also had no reaction to other dogs while passing them at the shelter. Roseanne is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much. Give her a comfortable place to relax, some affection and someone willing to keep the pets coming, and she’ll be perfectly happy. She’s ready to find a home where she can spend her days being the cuddly, gentle girl she already is. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
