Job wanted! My name is Otis and I am an intelligent, active two and a half year-old hound shepherd mix that is in need of a job. My current boss describes me as "the whole package"; house trained, leash trained, congenial with all canine co-workers, and I have completed diversity training, so appreciate the felines also. In addition, I am certified in beginning obedience from the Wenatchee Kennel Club and have started scent work, which I enjoy. Check out the photo of me climbing the tree to get to my target! I am looking for a job with structure, but one that also allows for some fetch time to create that perfect work/play balance. I can provide references upon request. I am neutered, vaccinated and ready to be part of a new family. Otis is located in Cashmere, Washington. B's Story This is a courtesy post, so please contact Josh directly at the number below. B is a nine year old female purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is 100 pounds. He is a gentle giant. She is a pretty chill dog likes to be lazy but also enjoys walks and adventures treats are her love language she’s scared of kids and sometimes doesn’t get along with other female dogs. Story
Jaxon is a loving, playful, and goofy dog who deserves a home where he can get the time and attention he thrives on. With a one-year-old and twins on the way, we’ve made the difficult decision to find him a family better able to meet his needs. Jaxon loves running in open fields and playing, but he’s also happy being lazy and snuggling. He doesn’t enjoy fetch, but he knows sit, lay down, lay flat on his side, stay, and come. He is leash trained and may be excitable at first, but he settles quickly and does well, especially with regular walks. He can get bored and may chew toys or his bed, but he has never chewed furniture or household items. He can jump a 6-foot fence if under-stimulated, though when exercised this isn’t an issue—if he gets out, he usually runs and comes right home. Jaxon is good with our son and has no history of biting or nipping. He enjoys other dogs but can play rough, so not every dog is a good match. Jaxon would do best in an active, loving home.
