Greetings, I am Oliver! I am a 7-year-old black mouth cur/pit bull terrier mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Loyal, Smart, Affectionate Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm just about the happiest guy you'll ever meet! My favorite place in the world is by my human's side. Getting pets and affection is all I want. If you're looking for a new best friend, I'm your guy! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, although it may take me some time to adjust to the schedue in my new home! I should do well in a home: I should do fine with children of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: I mostly just want to be with my people, but running around outside is fun too! Things I need work on are: I tend to pull on leash when excited. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "He was amazing. The most relaxed and calm dog I've ever had. Wanted to be by my side the whole time. Just wanted to be loved. Laid right next to me on the couch and was content just being next to me. Pulls a little on the leash with excitement, otherwise he's a dream. I absolutely love him!" "Oliver was such a good boy! We went on a short walk and since it was cold he wore one of my dogs sweaters and loved it! He definitely would love having his own wardrobe one day! I also think he would make a good running buddy. He LOVED his pupcup so much he was trying to steal my drink. We visited petsmart, Sierra and TJ Max which he absolutely loved as well! He did so well even though they were pretty busy! He wanted to say hi to everyone and had to sniff all the treats in the treat isle. He even just laid down in the store as I was talking to someone! He is the most perfect boy ever!" "Oliver is such a love! If I was able to I would have brought him home with me forever. He is the sweetest to humans and dogs alike and obviously has so much love to give. Besides being very hungry and ready to relax Oliver cuddled, played and walked like a champ!" "He’s genuinely the best boy, lovable and spent the day stealing our hearts. We loved him, did so good in the car, didn’t bark once, was so kind with everyone we walked by and is a bundle of love. We would adopt him ourselves if possible. Anyone would be so lucky to have him as a forever companion." "Oliver was such a good dog! He rides so well in the car. We went shopping and he was so good in the store. It was really cold outside so we went on a few very short walks for potty breaks. He does pull on his leash at first, but settles down nicely. Oliver also loves to snuggle. He’s the sweetest boy!"
