Story
Charla is a gorgeous long-haired rottie mix! She loves to play, run, and be cute! She is the queen of splooting and is always found laying with her legs fully extended! Charla enjoys hanging out with her dog companions, cuddling with her human friends, and eating tasty treats. Charla would do best in a home without smaller children or cats. However, she would love a home with other dogs for her to play and cuddle with. If you'd be interested in meeting this gorgeous girl at our Brownsboro Lifesaving Center - fill out a no-commitments adoption application today!

Story
Hi I'm Rosie! I'm an active 5 year old gal who loves to go for walks with the volunteers. I'd love to have a person who could spend time to bring me to training and help me learn all the things I didn't get to learn when I was little. Now that I'm an 'adult', I know just what kind of family would be best for me: since I can be a bit picky with other dogs, and guarded with my space, so I'd be best as the only dog in the family. Cats are probably not a good idea either! Even though I have a couple of special living needs, I'm a great gal who just needs a family to prove it to! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Boxer mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs. Here's what the Ark volunteers say about me: Rosie is a very active dog and is protective of her space. She will do best in a home with someone that is active. She would benefit from some dog training. She needs to be in a home without any other dogs. She walks on leash well most of the time and loves to run and play. She is a good snuggles!
