Tula is a stunning 18 month old Rottweiler with a heart as soft as her eyes. She is gentle, affectionate, and has that calm sweetness Rottweiler lovers rave about. This girl is truly all love and zero nonsense. She is house trained, well mannered, and gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and even chickens. Yes, chickens. Tula is respectful, easygoing, and just happy to be part of the family no matter the species. Rottweilers are incredible dogs when given love and structure. They are loyal, smart, and deeply devoted to their people. Tula is a perfect example of everything good about the breed. She wants to be close, wants to belong, and wants to be loved. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This is a list of the current animals available for adoption from Krewe de Rescue.  If you would like to meet an animal we have available for adoption, please fill out the adoption application.  All fields must be filled out for application to submit properly.  If a field does not apply to you, please enter N/A in the field. Adoption Application adoption application >>>  Apollo is a three year old male German shepherd/Rottweiler mix (parentage known). He weighs approximately 65 pounds. Apollo was surrendered to his trainer when the owners were relocated to another country (military) and did not make plans to take Apollo with them. Apollo is a super sweet boy that loves people. He doesn’t meet a stranger, loves affection, loves to be with people and doing whatever it is they are doing! He has medium to high toy and food drive, high hunt drive, wonderful possession, is confident in new environments and will hunt in new places. He loves to play fetch and has a beautiful “natural” recall to his name. Apollo will engage and “work” with strangers eagerly and happily! He is not very comfortable on rubble but has only been exposed to it once, so this could potentially change with time and exposure but he is not a naturally-confident rubble dog. He has had basic obedience training and knows basic commands (sit, down, stay, heel). Apollo has had training from a protection-based trainer and Apollo LOVES to work. His training is all equipment/toy motivated and has been centered around toy/equipment drive, cadence barking, and encouraging eagerness to work with a handler. Apollo is NOT people-aggressive and has zero desire to “bite” a person, unless they have the proper equipment . He is crate and house trained, and does well in a kennel environment. Currently, we are unsure how Apollo does with other dogs as he was not raised with them in his home. He is non-aggressive and curious when seeing/meeting other dogs through a barrier (kennel door), and he works well with a handler with other dogs out in the environment but at this time, we are unsure how he would actually interact with another dog. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes up to date shots. The adoption fee is $125 is required at the time of adoption pick up. The adoptions fees helps others needing a second chance. Her zcurrent owner has a situation where he can’t keep her any longer , and absolutely no way to change the situation. Gracie is sweet and a couch potato dog. She has been an indoor dog her whole life. We are currently working with her to ensure she is good with children and will verify she is good with cats. Her health is great and she has been well taken care of. Gracie can be a little hyper at times but it is because of her young age. She is a wonderful dog.
