Story
A little bit about Diesel:- reported to do well with kids, all interactions should be supervised- no known history with cats, history of prey drive on walks, introductions should be done slowly and supervised- has lived with a small dog before, potential for other dog in home pending successful introductionsMeet Diesel, our sweet senior “velcro dog” who wants nothing more than to be by your side. This old gentleman is cuddly, cautious, and endlessly curious, happily shadowing his favourite people throughout the day. When he knows it’s time for a walk, he’ll break into his adorable little happy dance - though be prepared, he can be quite strong on leash!Diesel is on anti-anxiety medication to help with reactivity and stress, and he also takes lifelong medication for hypothyroidism. He also has some age- and old injury-related arthritis, so regular vet care will be important to keep him comfortable and thriving. Despite his worries, he’s deeply affectionate and protective of his family, wanting attention and snuggles as often as he can get them.He previously lived with a small dog and may do well with the right match. He has no known history of living with cats before, so all introductions should be done slowly over time. His previous owner reported that he did well when meeting children, but we would still recommend all interactions to be closely supervised by an adult.Diesel will shine in a calm home with someone who is around often and can give him the activity, reassurance, and love he’s been craving. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and constant cuddle buddy, Diesel is ready to be your devoted best friend!

*Molly is in the process of being adopted!*** Molly can`t go home until December 6th once she`s had her spay surgery; but, she`s worth the wait! **A little bit about Molly:- no history with kids, all interactions should be supervised- has lived successfully with cats before- no history with dogs, potential for select dog pending successful introductionGentle giant Molly is here and she`s ready to steal your heart! This Bernese Mountain Dog–Caucasian Shepherd cross was surrendered to us through no fault of her own and is finding the shelter a bit overwhelming, so she’s looking for a calm, consistent home to call her own.Molly is a sweetheart through and through: a big, cuddly companion with a slightly goofy streak. She loves to chase her tail, and she loves nothing more than settling in for snuggles after a good play session. Kong toys are a favourite, and brushing time is pure bliss for her (which is great, because her gorgeous, impressive coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best). She has previously lived with cats and may enjoy having a feline friend or two in her forever home with slow, thoughtful introductions. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and delightfully silly companion, Molly might be the perfect match.
