Story
Hello, my name is Basil! A kind stranger brought me to High Country Humane after finding me with a bunch of porcupine quills stuck in my snout - it was pretty painful! As you can see, I am doing much better now and am porcupine quill free and ready to bein the search for my forever home! I can be shy at first, but I do like people and other dogs. If you have any siblings for me, it would be great to meet them before going home with you. I am very sweet and mellow - I love to cuddle! But first, I need to meet my new best friend. Is that you? I can't wait to see you! Come by High Country Humane to meet me!! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
