Murr is looking for a loving home! Things the team knows about me: - I am a very sweet and smart pup! - I was in a foster home since I've been in the shelter where I was receiving lots of love! But now I am ready to find my furever home. - I am still learning how to go potty outside, but for now, I've been using puppy pads indoors. - I like other dogs and kids! We do not know how I will do with cats. I’m full of puppy energy and ready to learn! Training is up to my new family, and I’m excited to master things like potty training, basic commands, and socializing. I can’t wait to grow and learn with you! Come meet me at High Country Humane, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!

Story
Bosco is a purebred Rottweiler. He’s a high-energy dog with a big heart and a strong desire to please. He has completed two weeks of professional board-and-train, and he walks well on a leash. He does best with structure and consistency. On walks, he can be reactive to other dogs and large trucks, and at home he may bark or react to unfamiliar people (like delivery drivers or landscapers). With the right environment and continued guidance, he has so much potential to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. This is not an easy decision. Due to a family medical situation that has required a prolonged hospital stay, we simply aren’t able to be home enough to give him the time, attention, and stability he deserves to truly thrive. He has no known health issues but will need some vaccine updates. We are hoping to find him a home with someone experienced with larger breeds who can provide structure, patience, and plenty of exercise.
