Story
Meet Auggie 5971 As 2-year-old Auggie gazes at you with his non-stop smiles, it is hard not to respond with one of your own. He kept his attention nicely focused on his bark park friend and performed an instant sit on request. After his proud pose, he came up to the photographer, who then rewarded him with a pat on the head and a gentle touch to his ears. Auggie smiled an even bigger grin letting it be known that he really enjoys a soothing ear massage. Auggie has never met a human of any age that he didn't like but he would be happiest in a home as the one and only canine.

Gretel 6923 Rottweiler Rogers, AR Young Female Large Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments. Meet Gretel 6923 Less than 2 minutes into the Humane Society bark park adventure, Gretel would come up to the human and drop into a respectful sit… so closely that your shoe may be sat on…… she is a full-sized canine so you will probably notice her wonderful presence. On the way from her kennel through the shelter, Gretel moved with total indifference past the chorus of dozens of canines expressing their desire to be the chosen one. 2-year-old Gretel owns an amazingly easy-going temperament that is contagiously peaceful and fills you with a kumbaya sense of harmony and unity. Even the cinematic flyby of a lobster squeaky didn’t get anything but a casual look from Gretel. She can glance at you with a Rottweiler furrowed brow, but it instantly breaks into a charismatically cheerful smile. Gretel, and her sibling Hansel, are an awesome, uniquely gifted pair of Rottweilers.

Story
Hansel 6924 Rottweiler Rogers, AR Young Male Large Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments. Meet Hansel 6924 It isn’t often that you are fortunate enough to encounter an outstandingly gentle, easy-going canine whose stature is guaranteed to give pause to any uninvited diminutive of thought person dumb enough to consider joining him in your backyard. Although Hansel would probably go up to the human for a hug or a rump rub, the “guest” would be long gone. On his way to the bark park, Hansel moved through the shelter with total indifference to the “serenade” of barks and complaints of the dogs who were wishing that they were the fortunate ones. Once there, 2-year-old Hansel stood waiting with amazing patience for the human to reach around and fasten the full-sized bandana, which barely fit the circumference of his Rottweiler neck. Hansel gazed up with a big-sized smile through the entire process as though he was vicariously enjoying the human’s difficulty in the “do you really think that’s going to fit?” stretching adventure. Hansel is an always happy, charming canine who walks nicely on leash and takes treats with an almost imperceptible touch. He performs an instant sit on request and showed only a passing interest in a Teddy Bear who was navigating a close fly by. While walking the first time past the kennel of Hansel and his sibling Gretel, the human was amazed at their calm demeanor and their loving camaraderie as they both accepted a hot dog treat with respect and dignity. Come on down to the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR and meet Hansel and Gretel, two of the most amazing Rottweilers that we have ever known.

Story
Who needs some Gin? Gin's estimated DOB is 05/15/2022 and she's a black and brown Rottweiler. Gin and Tonic are sisters who were found and brought to us as strays. Tonic has found her home, but Gin is still looking for her people. Gin can be timid at first, but she warms up to new people within a couple of days and when she sees somebody she knows approaching, she wags her whole entire butt! She learned the "sit" command exceptionally fast and is treat-motivated. So far, her favorites seem to be peanut butter treats, and she's not a big fan of the bacon kind. She's also been working on leash training and is doing a great job! She weighs 50 pounds. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. For more information, please email us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647. Story
Rosco is a sweet 5 year old boy who needs a home where he has a back yard and older kids to play with. My fiancée and I have had him since he was a puppy and we recently started travelling for work, Rosco is not enjoying the cramped travel trailer life. He loves other dogs when properly introduced, but can be reactive to stranger dogs. He loves our cats and is gentle with them. He is a sensitive boy who loves affection and sleeping in bed with his humans any time he can sneak up there. He does have some separation anxiety issues, but does well in a sturdy crate when left home alone. He loves to go for walks, and on trips to tractor supply. He does require a firm tone to respond to you when he has his attention on something else, and tends to listen better to men than women.

Story
Ritz 6911 Boxer & Terrier Mix Rogers, AR Young Female Medium Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments. Meet Ritz 6911 It was the first time that Ritz had visited the Humane Society bark park, and she was understandably a bit intimidated by its scents and its openness. Sometimes takes a little while for a canine to acclimate to the shelter environment, especially if their past had limited opportunities for human interaction or a caring home life. 1-year-old Ritz gradually became more comfortable, especially with a female volunteer, but was still a little shy about the experience.
