Story
Meet Auggie 5971 As 2-year-old Auggie gazes at you with his non-stop smiles, it is hard not to respond with one of your own. He kept his attention nicely focused on his bark park friend and performed an instant sit on request. After his proud pose, he came up to the photographer, who then rewarded him with a pat on the head and a gentle touch to his ears. Auggie smiled an even bigger grin letting it be known that he really enjoys a soothing ear massage. Auggie has never met a human of any age that he didn't like but he would be happiest in a home as the one and only canine.

Everyone needs a little bit of Gin and Tonic in their lives! Tonic's estimated DOB is 05/15/2022 and she's a black and brown Rottweiler. Gin and Tonic are sisters who were found and brought to us as strays from Republic. We'd love to see them go to a home together, but we're working with them to make sure they don't HAVE to.Tonic is the bigger and bolder of the two sisters, but also the more skittish of the two. She is protective of her little sister, and will often bark at strangers to scare them away. Luckily, she's treat motivated and learns to love new people within a couple days. She learned to "Sit" exceptionally fast, and has been working on leash training too. So far, she's doing a great job!All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week. For more information, please email us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647....All pets have lifetime sanctuary at Haven of the Ozarks. Story
Finch's DOB is 03/16/2020 and she's a German Shepherd / Rottweiler mix who was adopted out from the Haven as a puppy. She is house trained and is great with kids of all ages. She enjoys car rides, playing and laying around with her humans. She is a very sweet, smart, loving, has a lot of energy, and would do well with an active family who will keep her mind and her body engaged!Finch is used to baths and getting brushed and is great with people. She does fine on a leash but will need a good high fence to keep her from escaping the yard. Although she did live with another dog, she likes being the boss and can be protective of her family, so we recommend a meet and greet with any potential doggy siblings. All our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Story
Bruno 6894 Boxer & Labrador Retriever Mix Rogers, AR Adult Male Large Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments. Meet Bruno 6894 For the first 10 minutes of the photo session, Bruno was cooperative, respectful, and polite but he remained quite stoic with a look that world class poker players would have envied. The photographer sat down to give first time park visitor Bruno a little more time to adjust to the new environment. A couple of minutes later, 5-year-old Bruno came up to the human and stood quietly in front of him. The photographer reached out and gave Bruno some comforting touches and a kind caress of his ears and his head. Suddenly Bruno’s face broke into the most wonderful smile that never left for the rest of the photo session. We are not sure why Bruno had been abandoned but the joy had returned as had his desire just to be close and fulfill a sense of belonging with a human. As he appreciated the loving attention, hotdog treats were tossed to him which he adroitly caught with great eye/mouth coordination. Somewhere in his past, Bruno had been loved and is perfectly house trained. When you meet Bruno, share some gentle touches and you will be rewarded with his happy, cheerful, heart-felt smiles that are guaranteed to have you smiling back in unison with a worthy, trusting canine…..just because it feels so good!
