Story
Meet Fly, a delightful 8-month-old Rottweiler mix looking for a loving forever home. This sweet and friendly pup thrives on human companionship and adores spending time with you. Fly likes to learn and already knows the command "Sit," although he could benefit from more training consistency. Fly does have plenty of energy for a little play, but exploring is more in his interest. When out for a walk, Fly shines as a great walking partner, behaving well on the leash. Whether strolling through the neighborhood or relaxing in front of the TV, Fly is your go-to companion for a chill and relaxed time.Breed is based on physical features. Story
Chomp is a very sweet, polite, patient, calm, and curious guy. He walks decent on a leash and loves people. Chomp would do best in an adult only home as he doesn't really know how to act around small children and gets nervous. His reaction to cats is unknown. He is dog friendly but somewhat selective. It would require a proper and slow introduction with your other pets. Chomp was rescued from the SWC pound and we are just hoping to find a brighter future for him, he deserves it :)

Story
Rebel is a super sweet senior boy who just wants to lay around and keep you company. It is evident he has had a rough history, and really needs somewhere for a soft landing. The shelter is not that place, he needs a home. Rebel is about 8 years old, appears to be a Rottweiler mix, would do best in a home where there are no small children. If you have other dogs who mind their manners and stay to themselves, Rebel would work out great for you! He just doesn't like to be messed with. Rebel tested positive for heart worms after coming to us, so a calm household is preferred

Story
Who needs some Gin? Gin's estimated DOB is 05/15/2022 and she's a black and brown Rottweiler. Gin and Tonic are sisters who were found and brought to us as strays. Tonic has found her home, but Gin is still looking for her people. Gin can be timid at first, but she warms up to new people within a couple of days and when she sees somebody she knows approaching, she wags her whole entire butt! She learned the "sit" command exceptionally fast and is treat-motivated. So far, her favorites seem to be peanut butter treats, and she's not a big fan of the bacon kind. She's also been working on leash training and is doing a great job! She weighs 50 pounds. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. For more information, please email us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647. Story
Zeke is the life of the party everywhere he goes! He is the definition of a social butterfly, maybe more like a frat guy he loves everyone he meets, kids, people and dogs! He is ready for any adventure you plan to take him on and will go for as long as you want him to. But the truth is he is an older guy and if it were up to him he would like to play as hard as he can for about 20-30 minutes and then take a good, long nap. He is strong on the leash but he lightens up once he gets his excitement out, we believe once he is in a home and away from the shelter for a little bit that overly excited side will subside quite a bit! Zeke has become a huge fan of play groups and has so much fun meeting new dogs. We use him in our older puppy play groups, he is like the fun uncle all the kids want to hang out with. We also believe he is HOUSE TRAINED

Story
Hi there. Saddens me to write this but I have tried for the pet few months to make it work with sweet Echo, and I just know she needs and deserves all the attention in the world that I cannot give. I adopted her when she was around 1 they said but not certain, but her shots were on September 11, so that is when we would celebrate it. She will be 1 this year. She’s LOVES ppl, and certain dogs once she gets used to them. She can show some aggressive tendencies at first but NEVER bit another dog. She needs someone who is attentive and patient. I take her on runs and she is amazing when playing fetch. Very athletic and strong for her size and a huge heart. She can’t get enough love and affection, I just wish I could show her more than I presently do. I work so much and come home every 2-4 hours to play with her, but it’s a lot for me. If I had space for her to run around during the day, she would be much better for hours! I love her to death and that’s why I want what’s best for her.
