Story
Everyone needs a little bit of Gin and Tonic in their lives! Gin's estimated DOB is 05/15/2022 and she's a black and brown Rottweiler. Gin and Tonic are sisters who were found and brought to us as strays from Republic. We'd love to see them go to a home together, but we're working with them to make sure they don't HAVE to.Gin is the smaller of the two sisters, and the more timid of the two. She warms up to new people within a couple of days though, and when she sees somebody she knows approaching, she wags her whole entire butt! She learned the "sit" command exceptionally fast and is treat-motivated. So far her favorites seem to be peanut butter treats, and she's not a big fan of the bacon kind. She's also been working on leash training and is doing a great job!All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week. For more information, please email us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647....All pets have lifetime sanctuary at Haven of the Ozarks. If they cannot remain with their adopter, they must be returned to the Haven.Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies under the age of 6 months - $150Dogs weighing 30 pounds and less - $200Dogs over 6 months old- $90Cats under the age of 6 months old - $75Cats over the age of 6 months old - $65Special adoption fees may apply to some animals.

Story
Finch's DOB is 03/16/2020 and she's a German Shepherd / Rottweiler mix who was adopted out from the Haven as a puppy. She is house trained and is great with kids of all ages. She enjoys car rides, playing and laying around with her humans. She is a very sweet, smart, loving, has a lot of energy, and would do well with an active family who will keep her mind and her body engaged!Finch is used to baths and getting brushed and is great with people. She does fine on a leash but will need a good high fence to keep her from escaping the yard. Although she did live with another dog, she likes being the boss and can be protective of her family, so we recommend a meet and greet with any potential doggy siblings. All our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Meet Auggie 5971 As 2-year-old Auggie gazes at you with his non-stop smiles, it is hard not to respond with one of your own. He kept his attention nicely focused on his bark park friend and performed an instant sit on request. After his proud pose, he came up to the photographer, who then rewarded him with a pat on the head and a gentle touch to his ears. Auggie smiled an even bigger grin letting it be known that he really enjoys a soothing ear massage. Auggie has never met a human of any age that he didn't like but he would be happiest in a home as the one and only canine.

Story
T-bone is a sweet dog. While he is not a fan of sharing food with other dogs, he is fine sharing water, toys, and love with any animal. Mr. Bone has lived around kids and cats for years with us. Unfortunate living situations have brought us to this page today. I work 16 hours a day and because of that he has had to stay in the kennel way too much. I want to find him a happy home with a lot of love and attention for him.

Story
So, I adopted Echo from a shelter in Rogers, AR when she was around 1 year (they weren’t sure of her exact birthdate) in October 17, 2019. This puts her at around 4.5 years today. This is when we celebrate her birthday. She is extremely sweet and needs a lot of attention. She also needs a lot of exercise. She still struggles with a little bit of separation anxiety but she has been doing so much better! I love her to bits, but I have become crazy busy with work and I feel horrible I can only take her on a couple small walks a day. Again, she needs a lot of exercise. Whether it be hikes (she loves), long walks, having a big back yard or even other dogs to play with, I believe she would do wonderfully. She does have a hit of an aggressive tone at first with new dogs, but she has never bitten anyone or any other animal. She means well, and just needs someone to understand her and love on her. As much as it hurts, I know she would be much happier with someone who can provide more
