Story
Meet Cash, a lovable 2-year-old Rottweiler mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin! This handsome guy is always ready to make you laugh with his playful personality and silly antics. Whether he's proudly showing off his favorite toy or zooming around the yard, Cash knows how to make every day a little more fun.Cash loves spending time outdoors where he can stretch his legs, romp around, and burn off some energy. He's happiest when he has room to play, followed by some quality time with his favorite people. While Cash enjoys the company of other dogs, he'll need slow, carefully managed introductions to help him feel comfortable and build positive relationships at his own pace. He also experiences separation anxiety, so he'll thrive with a family that can help him gradually learn that being alone isn't so scary. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping Cash gain confidence. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who's equal parts playful, goofy, and loving, Cash might just be your perfect match. With a little understanding and lots of love, he's sure to reward his new family with endless smiles, wagging tails, and unconditional devotion. Story
FOR ADOPTION: MEET ADDIE! 🐾 ADDIE is an approximately 9-month-old female, large-breed mix. She came to us through the pound, so we don't have much background history on her. Addie currently weighs 63 lbs and will likely still fill out a little more as she grows. Addie is a fun, engaging young dog who thrives with firm boundaries and plenty of stimulation. She is looking for a family that wants to spend a lot of quality time with their dog—from outdoor adventures to structured training time, Addie loves it all! Energy & Exercise She is a medium-to-high energy dog who will fully embrace any outdoor activity. However, she should hold off on high-impact sports (like running or mountain biking) until her joints have fully matured. Training & Behavior Addie is a highly intelligent girl who is soaking up everything we teach her. She already has a solid sit, wait, and down, and she can even spin in both directions! On the Leash: Addie walks well on a leash when she is kept under control. If she is allowed to get too rowdy while out walking, she will go into full play-mode and try to tug on the leash, your sleeves, or whatever else she can find. Because of this, she does best with strict rules while walking, saving her high-energy playtime for the yard after her exercise. Social Life & Companionship Kids: Addie enjoys children, but she will do best with older kids or heavily supervised visits until she is through her puppy stage and learns that humans can't be played with in the same rough-and-tumble fashion as other dogs. Dogs: She has been excellent with every dog we have introduced her to. She plays very respectfully and is able to just chill out when hanging out with calmer dogs. Cats: Addie must have been put in her place by a cat in the past, as she was incredibly respectful of them during her cat test! She should easily fit into a home with other animals. Health & Shelter Manners Addie has been completely clean and non-destructive in her kennel while alone at the shelter. She is already spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on parasite control. If you've been looking for a fun, intelligent young dog to add to your family, apply today for a chance to meet ADDIE! #NWASAddie

Story
My name is Bear and here is a little info about me:Breed: RottweilerAge: 3.5 yrsGender: maleWeight: 75 lbsHeight: tbdHighlights: extremely loving, affectionate, curious, energeticLot of energy, this may help...https://links.goodpup.com/shelter/LALDR I am extremely loving and affectionate. My first owner bought me from a breeder with the intent of breeding me. They did not train me or exercise me so I got my energy out the only way a puppy can, by getting into mischief. This resulted in me being kept in a crate or a tiny hallway with the door shut. I was even hit on occasion resulting in me being very timid around the people who should have been showing me love. Once I was no longer a puppy my family lost all interest in me to the point that I was very close to being euthanized. I wisely ran away and found a loving person who contacted LALDR who immediately took me in. I am now in a foster home and am deliriously happy there.  I love meeting new people and other dogs and I am a bit too curious about cats so a home without a cat would be great. I am a very gentle and loving soul. My first foster mom said I am just about perfect except that her cat wouldn't come home when I was there. I was moved to a marvelous home with my foster dad and his other couple of dogs and I'm fitting in well.  I love going for walks so an active home would suit me best I am a high energy dog. I also love going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. Here's a video of me being, well, just plain cute: https://youtu.be/V0vL2SLcUVI. And I certainly know how to give lovins', kiss kiss kiss: https://youtu.be/SqWCw3sGJys. Here I am, not caring I have a cone on after neutering : https://youtu.be/AzTt3EUPBqA. Energy Level: medium highI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: noKids: no Training: My owners didnt bother training me so I don't know much yet. But I am an eager and quick learner. I want nothing more than to please my person.LAL has set up 1 week of free training for me:  https://links.goodpup.com/shelter/LALDR Leash skills: I can walk on a leash, but I am so excited for freedom that I pull. My foster mom is helping me learn my leash manners.  House trained: Yes. Health notes:  I am small for my breed. It is possible my growth was stunted by poor nutrition and by living in a crate too small for me. So I am a mini Rottweiler and just as cute as can be.  My adoption fee is $800 plus taxes. I will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.  ##1798603##

Story
Are you seeking a soulful best friend who needs a bit of understanding and love? Well look no further, and meet our sweet fella Diesel!Diesel can be quite insecure and unsure, and takes some time to warm up to new people visiting him. He does best with routine and positive reinforcement, utilizing redirection and praise! He can show up with this "tough guy" attitude to new comers, and appreciates feeling safe and secure with a slow approach. His ideal guardian would be a confident and keen owner who can help him navigate this using positive methods and know he is safe and new people = fun and great things! He has come SO far in his time here, we know he till just thrive with the right home.Once you've gotten to know Diesel and are in his fan club, you get that fullll membership access to unlimited bum scratches, his signature full body lean, and lots of love! He makes the cutest and sweetest little whines and cries when he sees you coming, and ADORES his besties! He will bond so well his new person, he just needs someone who understands his lack of confidence shows in a defensive attitude and he needs guidance for this. Diesel can be selective with other dogs, so would be best to live as the only pet. He may make great friends in his future, but really needs to be the center of the show to become his very best self and get the training he needs!Diesel is also seeking a home with no small pets, as he does have a prey drive and wouldn't be compatible to live with them.If you're interested, send us an application! https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 37.9 Age: 6yrs 8mths 0wks
