Story
Meet Bailey! This young girl is looking for her new home that will give her lots of love and security. Bailey has shown to be extremely smart and loyal, but she is a little bit weary of new environments. Once comfortable, Bailey is the sweetest thing! She loves to sniff around outside and run around with her favourite green frisbee. Bailey's looking for a home that will show her how fun life can be and teach her lots of fun and enriching tricks. Bailey loves hanging out with her puppy pals and loves having company. She likely would do well in a home with another dog. We're not positive how she would be with cats, however, we do just always recommend a slow introduction. Bailey loves people, but she can sometimes react to strangers. A simple greet will ease her anxiety and she'll be all butt wiggles and kisses after that. If you're interested in Bailey, apply online today! She loves playing fetch in her yard and will show you all of her best toys! Charlie knows sit, and will pick up training quickly. This sensitive, loving soul is ready to get out of the shelter and live her best life with her new people. If you're interested in meeting Charlie, please apply!

Story
Meet Nellie!Nellie loves to go for a walk along forest trails and will be a great hiking buddy. She is a big, strong girl and would fit in well with an active guardian. Nellie loves to hop in the car and go for adventures. She is calm in the car if you need to grab groceries and will wait patiently.Nellie absolutely loves food! A little bit too much as we are having to watch her treat intake. Nellie gets her frozen Kong every night before bedtime and she loves her routine. Nellie has been working with an Animal Kind Trainer learning to be the best dog she can be. She can tend to have some barrier and leash reactivity and can be stimulated by fast moving objects like cars and bikes. She is working hard on this, though, and learning to minimize these behaviors! Forest hikes or nature walks are best suited for Nellie rather than the hustle and bustle of urban life. While Nellie can make dog friends given appropriate introductions, she would do best as the only dog in the home. She is not suitable for a home with cats or other small animals. Even though she has a bubbly side, she does have a very snugly loving big baby side as well. Are you looking for an active, loving, adventure buddy? Nellie could very well be the pooch for you! Please apply online if you would like to meet this big bundle of joy!https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-sunshine-coast/Nellie ID 566016PLEASE NOTE: This dog is located on the Sunshine Coast and travel via BC Ferries is required to adopt. Story
My name is Bear and here is a little info about me:Breed: RottweilerAge: 2 yrsGender: maleWeight: 55 lbsHeight: tbdHighlights: extremely loving, affectionate, curious, gentleLot of energy, this may help...https://links.goodpup.com/shelter/LALDR I am extremely loving and affectionate once I know you. I can be a bit shy when meeting strangers but it doesn't take me long to consider you my new best friend. My previous owners bought me from a breeder with the intent of breeding me. They did not train me or exercise me so I got my energy out the only way a puppy can, by getting into mischief. This resulted in me being kept in a crate or a tiny hallway with the door shut. I was even hit on occasion resulting in me being very timid around the people who should have been showing me love. Once I was no longer a puppy my family lost all interest in me to the point that I was very close to being euthanized. I wisely ran away and found a loving person who contacted LALDR who immediately took me in. I am now in a foster home and am deliriously happy there.  I adore people and other dogs but I am a bit too curious about cats so a home without a cat would be great. I am a very gentle and loving soul. My first foster mom said I am just about perfect except that her cat wouldn't come home when I was there. I was moved to a marvelous home with my foster dad and his other couple of dogs and I'm fitting in well.  I love going for walks so an active home would suit me best. I also love going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. I absolutely adore going for car rides and am a perfect gentleman in the car.  Here's a video of me being, well, just plain cute: https://youtu.be/V0vL2SLcUVI. And I certainly know how to give lovins', kiss kiss kiss: https://youtu.be/SqWCw3sGJys. Here I am, not caring I have a cone on after neutering : https://youtu.be/AzTt3EUPBqA. Energy Level: medium highI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: noKids: no Training: My owners didnt bother training me so I don't know much yet. But I am an eager and quick learner. I want nothing more than to please my person.LAL has set up 1 week of free training for me:  https://links.goodpup.com/shelter/LALDR Leash skills: I can walk on a leash, but I am so excited for freedom that I pull. My foster mom is helping me learn my leash manners.  House trained: Partly, but still need some guidance. I will likely be house-trained by the time I am adopted. Health notes:  I am small for my breed. It is possible my growth was stunted by poor nutrition and by living in a crate too small for me. So I am a mini Rottweiler and just as cute as can be.  My adoption fee is $800 plus taxes. I will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.  ##1798603##

Story
**Currently fostered in HOUSTON TX but is available for adoption via rescue transportation. We provide a zoom call for you to virtually meet prior to adoption** If you're looking for a big love bug of a Rottweiler, then look no further! Say hello to Sheba. Like her name implies, she is a total QUEEN of a dog! Sheba is the epitome of all Rottweilers. She is large, in charge, loyal, loving, and full of fun. She adores people, and gets along with everyone she meets. Even children, whom she absolutely adores. She grew up with two loving kids and they were the apple of her eye. When they had to rehome her due to life and environment changes, we told them we'd make sure she got the best new family around! She loves other dogs, and enjoys their companionship and play. She gets along with almost all dogs she meets and when they don't mix, she practices heavy avoidance. She has also been around several cats and lived beside them with no issue other than your average keeping an eye on. ((She sometimes thinks EVERYONE needs to play)) So a home with or without cats or dogs would be just fine for Sheba, although a playmate might be more fun! Sheba is exceptional when it comes to training. She is very smart, and extremely eager to please. She will work for food, toys, or affection as all three are just as valuable to her. She already knows many commands such as sit, stay, settle, kennel, heel. She is also fully kennel trained, leash trained, and Housebroken. Sheba has been fully vetted, meaning she is current on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention, and microchipped. For more information, please contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com For more pics and vids on Sheba, visit us here! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.595020159332765&type=3
