Story
My name is Bear and here is a little info about me:Breed: RottweilerAge: 2 yrsGender: maleWeight: 55 lbsHeight: tbdHighlights: extremely loving, affectionate, curious, energeticLot of energy, this may help...https://links.goodpup.com/shelter/LALDR I am extremely loving and affectionate once I know you. I can be shy when meeting strangers but it doesn't take me long to consider you my new best friend. My previous owners bought me from a breeder with the intent of breeding me. They did not train me or exercise me so I got my energy out the only way a puppy can, by getting into mischief. This resulted in me being kept in a crate or a tiny hallway with the door shut. I was even hit on occasion resulting in me being very timid around the people who should have been showing me love. Once I was no longer a puppy my family lost all interest in me to the point that I was very close to being euthanized. I wisely ran away and found a loving person who contacted LALDR who immediately took me in. I am now in a foster home and am deliriously happy there.  I'm nervous around new people and other dogs and I am a bit too curious about cats so a home without a cat would be great. I am a very gentle and loving soul. My first foster mom said I am just about perfect except that her cat wouldn't come home when I was there. I was moved to a marvelous home with my foster dad and his other couple of dogs and I'm fitting in well.  I love going for walks so an active home would suit me best I am a very high energy dog. I also love going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. Here's a video of me being, well, just plain cute: https://youtu.be/V0vL2SLcUVI. And I certainly know how to give lovins', kiss kiss kiss: https://youtu.be/SqWCw3sGJys. Here I am, not caring I have a cone on after neutering : https://youtu.be/AzTt3EUPBqA. Energy Level: medium highI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: noKids: no Training: My owners didnt bother training me so I don't know much yet. But I am an eager and quick learner. I want nothing more than to please my person.LAL has set up 1 week of free training for me:  https://links.goodpup.com/shelter/LALDR Leash skills: I can walk on a leash, but I am so excited for freedom that I pull. My foster mom is helping me learn my leash manners.  House trained: Yes. Health notes:  I am small for my breed. It is possible my growth was stunted by poor nutrition and by living in a crate too small for me. So I am a mini Rottweiler and just as cute as can be.  My adoption fee is $800 plus taxes. I will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.  ##1798603##

Story
Meet Simon! This affectionate, energetic, love bug is waiting for his forever home! Simon is looking for an active family who are willing to work on some training with him. He absolutely loves getting out for walks and adventures, but does need to learn some basic leash manners and recall. Simon is very food motivated and eager to learn, he's been working on 'sit' and 'lie down', and would thrive in an environment where he can keep his brain active! This love bug absolutely adores cuddles and gets really excited when he gets to see his human friends. He also shows interest in meeting other dogs, so would likely be okay in a home with a canine companion, after slow and cautious introductions. Simon would make an exceptional companion and would fit right in with a busy household where he can tag along on adventures! PLEASE NOTE: This dog is located on the Sunshine Coast and travel via BC Ferries is required to adopt. Appointments are preferred to adopt one of our animals. Please speak with shelter staff prior to visiting our branch. Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. View the animal's profile at adopt.spca.bc.ca 2. Story
Introducing Sully! A big puppy with a heart of gold who is on his healing journey from what's called 'Strangles'. Sully is quite possibly the most lovable and cuddly guy. He will sit for treats and anything else of value to him, especially toys! Sully can be a bit insecure around other dogs while on leash, but has been living happily in foster with another dog; so he would love to have a canine friend to show him the ways of the world. Sully is still shy of new situations including walks in different places. He is cautious of the world and looks for his people to give him reassurance and show him all the cool things the world has to offer. Sully is a bit of a chewer and likes to have different toys and option to teethe on. He is crate trained at night and does well sleeping sound with no fuss. Sully is still working on his housetraining skills - but he is making great progress! Sully cannot wait to find a family dedicated to loving him fur-ever. He is a sweet boy who has endured a lot in his short period of life and is excited to see what the future holds. Apply today to love Sully ♥ Primary Color: Tan Weight: 16 Age: 0yrs 4mths 0wks

Story
Mighty Moose is a goofy fun, confident, fun loving, giant goof ball that is ready to find his forever home. Not only is he a goof ball but he also has a super gentle side to him as well. He is so great at adjusting his energy to whatever is needed at the time. He met a 3 year old toddler and was so gentle with him and was very comfortable and relaxed around him as well. Watch his personality here: https://youtu.be/W_1uJ4OpfP0?si=qwM2yxNklu-qCs2v Mighty Moose is believed to be a Rottie lab mix approximately 2 years old and currently weights 90 lbs. He's a big boy with a lot of love to give. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We can guarantee that you'll be getting an amazing dog that will be your best bud for the rest of their life. Mighty Moose is very dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced him to. He even did great with a very spicy female shepherd that was just learning how to play with dogs. She loved him and he was very respectful and mindful of her. He loved playing with a super goofy young male dog that loves to rough house. We did introduce him to two small dogs and our resident cat and we believe he would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats as he was a little too interested. We believe Mighty Moose would also do best in a home with a backyard where he can run around and play and also with a semi active family that will want to take him on adventures. He is medium energy and will be a great companion to take on hikes, long walks in the neighborhood or even if you wanted to take him to a dog friendly venue. He loves people and does great meeting new people. He knows no stranger! Mighty Moose is treat motivated and will need continued training and a family that will be willing to continue his training and socialization to ensure that he remains the best dog he can be. It would also be beneficial if his future adopters have prior experience or knowledge with the breed as well. We are willing to test Mighty Moose with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know! Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
