Hi! My name is Timberlake. I am a sweet and very hyper guy who needs a lot of exercise to burn my energy. I am a cool and loving guy. I got a lot of tail wagging when I get attention. I give you kisses and I will roll all over the place to get you to rub my belly. I love toys and may fetch them and maybe bring them back. I just love to run and play. I do well with other dogs and with kids. I do need cat tested if you have cats. I will be ready very soon for my new home.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. Hi my name is Mick and I am around 5 years old. I am not sure of strangers but once we become friends you can't get rid of me. I am selective of my doggy friends and I need a home without cats. I love to play with toys especially rope toys and stuffed animals. I haven't had a lot of socialization but I am hoping to find an owner who will help me overcome my fears. Story
Artemis is a sweet, energetic puppy who loves racing around the yard, playing with toys, and soaking up affection. She’s crate trained, eager to learn, and loves being part of the action. Artemis is friendly, social, and very loving, and she’d thrive with a family who enjoys outdoor fun, regular exercise, and plenty of snuggles. She has a happy, gentle spirit and is ready to grow up with her forever people. She’s currently 5 months old and 24lbs. The vet listed her as a Rottweiler mix. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   November 20, 2025, 7:58 pm

Story
Meet Aimee-Leigh! At just 6 months old, Aimee-Leigh is a gorgeous Rottweiler/Shepherd mix with eyes so stunning they should probably have their own fan club. She’s a Southern sweetheart with a sprinkle of sass, a whole lot of smarts, and the perfect amount of “I might steal your spot on the couch” energy. Aimee-Leigh is the full puppy package: playful, cuddly, curious, and always ready to charm her way into getting one more treat… or three. She loves people, adores playtime, and melts for cuddles, blankets or time by the fireplace. She has mastered her crate and is doing well on walks. If you’re looking for a best friend who brings equal parts joy, goofiness, and gorgeous good looks, Aimee-Leigh is your girl. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Bret has been with us for a little while now, and we can’t believe this sweet, goofy boy is still waiting for his perfect match. Named in honor of a cherished Humane Society donor who passed away, Bret carries a very special legacy—and we know his namesake would be proud of the loving, joyful dog he is. He first arrived as a stray feeling a bit under the weather, but with care and kindness he’s blossomed into a healthy, happy pup ready for his forever home. Bret has never met a stranger. He adores every person he meets and greets them with full-body enthusiasm. He may be a big boy, but don’t tell him that—Bret is fully convinced he’s a lap dog. The moment you start petting him, he’ll flop right over, gaze up at you with those big puppy eyes, and politely ask for endless belly scratches. He’s a snuggle machine with a heart of pure gold. Bret is also a star student! He’s currently attending START classes through the Dayton Dog Training Club, where he’s learning and practicing good manners and training skills. He loves the mental stimulation and is proving to be a smart, eager-to-please pup. While Bret would do best as the only pet so he can soak up all the love, he has more than enough affection to fill a whole household. He’s patient, loyal, silly, and so ready to bond with someone who will give him the chance he’s been waiting for. If you’re searching for a devoted companion who will keep you smiling, warm your heart, and happily curl up beside you for life, Bret is your boy. ❤️

Story
Hiya, my names Sandy. I’m an adult boxer pit mix that loves belly rubs. I’m looking for someone to recognize what a good girl I am. I love hanging out with other dogsother dogs. Although I like to give hugs, I’m very gentle and not jumpy. I would do great with kids. I do chase cats so a big no for me. I often spend time in the office. I like to curl up at the staff’s feet while they work. I’m so quiet and well behaved; sometimes the staff forgets I’m hanging out with them. I’ve recently had my first official car ride. Although I need help jumping into a larger vehicle, I’m a very well on car rides. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
