Luke is part of a litter of puppies that was abandoned at 1 day old. He and his siblings were bottle-fed. He has been around dogs, cats, and kids. He is a DNA-tested Rottweiler, Husky, and Great Pyrenees - he is going to be a BIG dog! At 8 weeks old he is 10 lbs. He has received his first parvo vaccine and has been dewormed. Among his siblings, he is more of a follower and looks to others for guidance. He is more relaxed than his siblings, but still has a lot of puppy energy! Luke is available for foster-to-adopt. The adoption will not be considered complete until he is neutered. SAR will pay for the remainder of his vetting (2 rounds of vaccines, neuter, and microchip) if completed at our vet. If you would like to use your vet, SAR will reimburse you the amount that SAR would have paid for each service. Delayed neuter is an option, which can be discussed in greater detail with an approved applicant.

Story
Tugger is a loving, happy dog who has never shown aggression toward people or other animals. He absolutely loves attention and thinks he’s a tiny lap dog despite being a big guy. Our living situation has changed. At our old house, Tug had space indoors where he could be part of the family while still being separated from our 1½-year-old when needed. Since moving, that setup is no longer possible. While we have a fully fenced yard for him outside, when he’s indoors he spends most of his time kenneled. Tug loves Ellie and would never intentionally hurt her, but he’s big, excitable, and doesn’t understand his size. He gets overly excited, plays too rough, and frequently knocks her down. With so many babies and young children in our lives right now, we’re finding it increasingly difficult to give him the freedom, attention, and quality of life he deserves.

She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out for strolls, taking in the world at her own pace.When it comes to other dogs, Ida doesn`t seem to mind them much—she mostly ignores them and prefers to focus on herself. She`s not overly needy and is content hanging out nearby without constantly seeking attention.One of Ida`s favorite things in life is treats, especially pupperoni! If you`re looking to win her over, snacks are definitely the way to her heart.
