I might be young and playful but when it's time for other dogs to stop playing, I'll be respectful and go play with my toys by myself. I am still working on my confidence with cats. They seem like a lot of fun, but I know.... no touching. I just wanna sniff 'em. I got lots of room for learning, can I learn with you?

If you're willing to give me a little time, I promise you'll discover one of the sweetest, most loyal dogs you'll ever meet. I'm a bit shy when meeting new people, and I like to take things at my own pace. The world can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, so I'm looking for a patient, experienced person who will help me build confidence and show me that new things aren't so scary. Once you earn my trust, though? Get ready for a best friend who loves with his whole heart. I'm playful, goofy, and love romping around with my dog friends. Running, chasing, and wrestling are some of my favorite ways to spend the day! I'd do best with kids over 12, and while I can be selective with cats, I'd be happy to meet the right one. When playtime is over, my favorite place is right beside my person… or better yet, curled up in their lap. I love giving hugs, rolling over for belly rubs, and getting as close to you as I possibly can. Once I feel safe, my affectionate side really shines, and all I want is to be loved. I'm a wonderful boy who's just waiting for someone to see past my shyness and into my heart. We've had Roxanne for about 3 years now after we rescued her from a Facebook post and she's a great dog, but recently she has been getting into bad fights with our other dog and for the safety of both dogs we need to rehome her ASAP. Shes ended up at the emergency vet 3 times in a month. She should definitely be the only dog in the home just to be safe. Also she does great with women but doesn't love men at first until she gets to know them and even then they need to be sitting down for her to want pets. She has her quirks but she really is a great dog if we can just find her the perfect home.
