Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Dude is a five year-old neutered male AKC registered full blood Rottweiler, who we raised from birth. I am now in a situation where I am unable to keep him as I live in a one bedroom apartment in Reno and he’s just too much to handle for me right now. He is very lovable and very protecting. It would make a great pet for someone who has room for him to roam run around and play and I’m sure that he would enjoy being rehomed to a new family that would love him back. He is the last of a line of champions in the confirmation ring.

Story
Dutch Bros is a young Boxer who came to Boxers & Buddies when his previous family found him difficult to manage due to his deafness. Like many deaf dogs, Dutch simply needs the right kind of communication and structure to help him succeed.Deaf dogs learn through visual cues, hand signals, and consistency, and when given that guidance they can thrive just like any other dog.Because of his needs, we are looking for an adopter who has experience with both Boxers and deaf dogs. Boxers are an energetic, intelligent breed that do best with training, patience, and clear leadership — all things that will help Dutch grow into the amazing companion we know he can be.Dutch is a sweet, expressive boy who just needs someone willing to invest the time to help him learn and build confidence. If you have experience with Boxers and deaf dogs and are ready to give Dutch the guidance he deserves, we’d love to hear from you.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
