Roman is an 8-year-old Rottweiler who is loyal, active, and very affectionate with his family. He still has great energy for his age and loves walks, hikes, and car rides. He does well with other dogs, has lived with a cat, and is typically more submissive in animal interactions. Roman is very people-oriented and thrives when he has companionship, but he does have separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is around more often. He is naturally protective, especially around children, and does best with proper introductions to new people. Because of his breed and protective nature, we believe he would do best with an experienced large-breed or Rottweiler owner who understands structure, leadership, and the needs of the breed. Our goal is simply to find him a stable, loving home where he can continue to thrive.
