URGENT!!!! NEAR GLOVERSVILLE/AMSTERDAM NY FOSTER or ADOPTER NEEDED! Sassy was adopted a year ago and needs a new home. She is not good with the animals in the home and needs to be an only dog. She is about 4 years old. Sassy looks like a big teddy bear and also can be one! Her favorite thing in the world is belly rubs. She does not like to swim but does like to play in the water. She will love you and lick the death out of you! She does have some separation anxiety. She is house trained and crate trained. She will love to love you when you are just sitting on the couch. We have made much progress with her at the vets -she does not need to be muzzled until they start with the vaccinations. If you saw her last year you would understand the progress that this is! She really is a sweet girl that really loves to be loved. She just needs an environment that it is just her, no other animals.. She really is an amazing dog with so much heart. If interested please submit an application on our site, www.mountainrottie.net!

Story
How is Scottie still waiting? We're asking that question again this week. Because somehow, despite being absolutely wonderful, Scottie is still looking for her forever family. In fact, over the last few weeks, she has had TWO potential adopters. Both times we thought this was finally it. Both times we thought Scottie had found her happily ever after. And both times, through no fault of her own, the adoptions fell through. So here we are. Still waiting for the right family to find her. Scottie is a 1-year-old Rottweiler/Lab mix who came to Rover's Do Over from a heartbreaking hoarding case where 27 dogs were removed from a single home. When Scottie first came to us, the world was a very different place than the one she knew. She had never experienced so many of the simple things most dogs take for granted. Things like: Running freely through the grass Living in a home with a routine Being someone's beloved companion Since then, Scottie has been learning how to be a dog. And honestly? Watching her discover the world has been one of the most rewarding things we've ever seen. About Scottie: Approximately 1 year old Loves playing with other dogs Cat friendly Great with people Playful and fun Sweet, loving personality Scottie has embraced her second chance with both paws. She loves making friends. She loves playing. She loves exploring. And every day she becomes a little more confident than the day before. What makes Scottie so special isn't just what she's overcome. It's how she approaches life now. She doesn't dwell on the past. She simply wakes up every day excited to see what comes next. And we're hoping what comes next is a forever family. Because after surviving a hoarding situation, learning how to trust, and having two adoptions fall through... We think it's finally Scottie's turn. Apply to adopt Scottie: www.roversdoover.com/adopt Please share. Because somewhere out there is the family Scottie has been waiting for all along. And trust us... They're going to be incredibly lucky when they find her. ##2706639##

Story
Two months ago, Cue was fighting to survive. Today, she's waiting for a family. Some dogs come into rescue and leave a lasting impression. Cue is one of those dogs. About two months ago, Cue was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. She arrived at animal control scared, uncertain, and VERY pregnant. We knew time was running out. An incredible foster family stepped forward, and we pulled Cue into safety. Just in time. Because less than 12 hours later, Cue gave birth to her puppies. Since that day, Cue has done everything asked of her. She survived the unimaginable. She learned what it meant to be safe. She raised her puppies with love and devotion. And then she watched every one of them leave for their forever homes. Now it's Cue's turn. And somehow, this incredible dog is still waiting. About Cue: Approximately 1 year old Rottweiler/Lab mix Great with dogs of all sizes Sweet and affectionate Recently discovered her love of water Ready for her forever family The thing we love most about Cue is her spirit. Despite everything she's been through, she remains one of the happiest, most loving dogs you'll ever meet. She makes friends easily. She enjoys the company of other dogs. She's affectionate without being demanding. And lately, she's discovered that splashing around in the water is pretty much the greatest thing ever. Cue has spent her entire life taking care of others. Now we're looking for someone who will take care of her. Someone who will show her that life is about more than survival. More than motherhood. More than simply getting by. A family who will show her what it feels like to truly belong. Apply to adopt Cue: www.roversdoover.com/adopt Please share. Because after overcoming so much and watching all of her puppies find their happily ever afters, we think it's finally Cue's turn. And trust us... Whoever adopts her is getting one incredible dog. ##2737587##
