🐾 🚨 URGENT: SOCIAL & AFFECTIONATE ROTTIE JOJO NEEDS A HOME BEFORE MARCH 18 🚨 LONG ISLAND/TRI-STATE ONLY JoJo is a 2 year old, 114 lb Rottweiler who suddenly lost his original owner in January. A kind roommate has been caring for him, but can no longer keep him, and JoJo is scheduled for surrender to ACC on March 18 unless someone steps up. This sweet boy deserves so much better. JoJo is described as deeply social, affectionate, and happiest wherever his people are. He loves sleeping in bed with his owner, enjoys car rides, and is gentle for baths. He goes on 1–2 short walks a day and is also trained to use wee wee pads. He knows several cues—sit, down, no, yes, and go inside—and he isn’t picky about food or treats. His favorite activities include running in the park and playing tug of war. His previous owner’s favorite things about him were simple and heartfelt: JoJo is affectionate and happy. JoJo needs a safe place immediately—foster, adopter, or rescue. If you can help JoJo or want more information, please reach out. I can be cautious of new people  and places at first, but treats really help me feel more comfortable. I love snuggling with my  foster family. I have played with other dogs, and I get along great with them. I am exploring all  the new toys around, and I especially love the squeaky ones.  I have been around adults and kids. I give lots of wet kisses in  exchange for head scratches and belly rubs.   I am a pretty well-mannered girl. I know how to sit and lie down. I am practicing wait and off.  I’m doing well with my potty training. I go outside on a schedule. I’m also getting crate training  down. I’m very comfortable in my crate. I know not to go potty in there as long as you let me out!
