She enjoys car rides, walks nicely on leash (she’s strong!), and is happiest when she can relax next to her person after a stroll. Rita is affectionate, silly, and absolutely lights up when she feels connected to her humans. Like many dogs who had a rough start, Rita is still polishing a few manners. She’s working on some issues related to potty training and can get a little mischievous if left unsupervised, so she should be crated when alone. With a patient, loving, breed-experienced foster or adopter, she’ll continue to blossom. Rita also has a cherry eye that’s been corrected twice but came back — now it’s just part of her charm.
