Story
I am heartbroken about this but I have to re-home my 8 month old Rottie (53%), Pittie (22%), Staffy (17%) mix puppy. Her name is Miriam. I got her when she was 3 months old and before that she was a stray in Alabama. I fostered her for a bit and then failed and kept her. She is 25 pounds and will likely stay between 40-50. Very sadly, my senior dog’s health is declining and she gets too rough with him. I have to keep them separate or in my sight at all times. She loves him and just wants to play but does not know her strength and size. I fear she will hurt him one day. It is similar with our small kids. She still has some mouthing and jumping concerns. But beyond the impulse control, she loves to play, chew on her toys, and gives the best snuggles in between. She is a skinny dog, so loves to snuggle up close to her human or other dog and boy does she give the best snuggles! If you are looking for a dog that still thinks she’s a lap dog, look no further than Miriam!
