Nala was picked up as a stray after being dumped by her owner along with a few other dogs and weighs about 65 pounds. She’s on the shy side and can startle easily but has been gaining confidence every day, so she’ll need someone who understands that and can work with her on gaining trust and confidence. Yet Nala is still an incredibly gentle Rottie-mix with a love of cookies (for dogs) who walks on a loose leash for our volunteers.

Maisy is a beautiful Rottie mix who loves people and affection. She enjoys her walks outside but be prepared for frequent cuddle stops (not that our volunteers have ever complained about that). You may not get a lot of distance with all the pets but you’ll never doubt her devotion to you. We do think Maisy is looking to be an only pet, but think her love is more than enough to fill a home.

You might not like the flavor of black licorice, but wait until you`ve met this dynamic guy who`s an absolute sweet treat! Licorice (40lbs) came to us when his owners had to move and sadly couldn`t take him with them. At just five months old, he`s already got a few tricks under his belt, and as long as you`re not a vacuum, he`s interested in getting to know you! He`s very friendly, but he`ll need to get to know you before he`s going to show you his favorite blanket or ball. We know that he`s lived with kids and other dogs, but we`d still love to set up a separate meet and greet for any current resident canines.
