Adam is a 2 yr old, Rottweiler mix, he is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Adam is a playful and affectionate dog with much energy. He has a charming personality that really shines when he plays with his toys (he likes the squeak). However he can be frightened of loud noised and is leery of men. A calm home that is willing to let him open up in his own time would be best, and a home with children over the age of 10yrs old is recommended for Adam. He would do best in a home without cats, and will need basic obedience training as well as leash work. Two year old Axel is a happy, confident Rottie looking for a forever home after his owner abandoned him and his brother. Axel walks nicely on a leash and has really enjoyed walks on the nature trail with our staff. He's an intelligent boy and has quickly learning the routine of shelter live, adapting quickly. Axel is good with other dogs of similar size, but not with smaller dogs or cats, and would do best in a family with big dog experience. Does not like children!!
