*Name: Cleo  *Age: 2.5 years old *Current Weight: 63 lbs *Adoption fee: $475 This is Cleo, an incredibly smart and lovable, two year old rottie mix in search of a foster home, or even better, a place to be her forever home.  This resilient girl was originally found on the streets of South Carolina. Skinny and homeless, she gave all of herself to keep her three puppies alive until help came along and brought them to safety up in NY. All of Cleo’s puppies have found their forever homes and now it’s Cleo’s turn! With stunning looks and desire to learn, she's a quick learner, food motivated, and eager to please her humans. A winning combination and all the makings of your future best friend!  What makes this girl the happiest? Having plenty of time to frolic in the yard and play fetch with pretty much any ball she can get her paws and mouth on. Her favorite toy? Well, she absolutely LOVES buckets. Yes, you read that correctly... buckets. This silly girl likes to stash all of her toy balls in a bucket, roll it around the yard, and toss it up into the air. It's equally hilarious as it is adorable to watch her have so much fun playing and entertaining herself. Indoors, Cleo is a love and happily entertains herself with chew bones along with pretty much any ball, toy or puzzle she can get her paws on! We need to find this girl a loving home that will give her the stability, structure, and engagement she thrives on, and a family that will dote on her, just as she deserves. Are you able to open your home and your heart to this beautiful girl? Cleo is located at our adoption center in Brewster, NY! To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2188529##

Story
Belle is a rescue we have had since October '21. She's Mixed Breed with 50% Rottweiler. (embark DNA results available) She is smart and playful, she loves toys and dog chews. Belle does not like to be on a leash or go for walks, she prefers to run and play in the yard. On nice days she loves to spend time outside laying in the sun. She is house trained and comes immediately (and eagerly) when called, she is very enthusiastic. When left alone for any period, she welcomes us home with excitement and zoomies. She sleeps in our bed, and makes a good home companion. She would do well as an only pet for a couple or single and room to play outside. She loves attention, lots of petting and cuddles. It breaks our heart to let her go, but she does not get along with her 'fur sibling' who is much older and more well established in the family. She will be timid at first, until she gets comfortable, then she will come out of her shell and be wonderful. She's fully rotted and spayed.

Story
Roman is a beautiful dog. He's motivated by food :-). He enjoys playing with our neighbor's 3 kids. He starts to whine when he hears the truck start, afraid he will be left behind from his weekly dump runs, where the workers spoil him with treats. He loves to eat! He completed 4 weeks of board training in Stamford. He likes to sit "in place" while we watch tv. Roman's birthday is April 13, 2024, we brought him home June 2024. We would love to find him a home where someone is experienced with Rotties. Roman is mostly mild tempered and enjoys attention. We have been experiencing some food aggression with him lately during meal time, but once he's done eating, he's totally fine.
