Story
Meet Memphis, a very special girl, in need of a very special, and specific, home. Memphis is two years old and intact, she is the daughter of a Grand National Champion father, and a Serbian Import mother. All pedigree paperwork and AKC registration comes with her. I am not looking for any money for her, just an amazing home. She’s gorgeous and she knows it, she loves to stare at herself in a mirror. She watches tv, prances on her walks, adores cuddles, and is an absolute ball of energy. Memphis also has major challenges and restrictions that I am not able to work with. I brought her in at 11 months. She had a very difficult first year of her life, she was completely kennel kept in a 6x6 space with two other dogs. She had no training. I truly don’t know what kind of damage was done that first year. She’s has become highly aggressive towards my seven year old female, she shows aggression towards all other animals, and worst of all young children. *Continued in “pet diet”

Story
Meet this SWEETHEART named Toby! He was surrendered over to animal control and brought into the shelter July 18, 2023 when owner couldn’t keep him any longer. He came in sad and down on his luck. He is such a sweet boy, gentle, fun, loving, easy going, but full of love and life to share. Toby is 7 years old, current on shots, now neutered, and will make someone or a family a fabulous pup if given a chance. He is settling into “shelter life” but hopes his stay isn’t too long. He’s a good boy missing his home life setting. He has played with a female pup at the shelter and had a blast. Maybe you need more love in your life and in your home? Story
Meet BoBo, a 3 year old male dog with lots of love to give! While we don't know if he gets along with other dogs, he is super friendly with humans and loves giving kisses once he knows you. He came into the shelter May 13, 2024 when his owner.could no longer keep him. He came in scared, unsure of shelter life, which all is very common but with time and love from volunteers and staff he is settling in better daily. Bobo is 3 years old, current on shots, now neutered, and ready to meet his new person or family. He hopes his stay will be short. You may be the reason for his short stay, Bobo is ready to find his forever home with a loving family. If you're interested in adopting him, please come to the shelter today to meet him!" Remember he’s settling in right now and a little shy. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.
