Rottweiler Hearts Rescue stepped up in the nick of time to snatch up Benny from the shelter. Benny is a young male around 18 months old, fully vaccinated and will be neutered shortly. Benny can be reactive on the leash and will require a strong, Rottie-savvy handler. He will be off to board and train for a month and will be ready for a foster/adopter home. Big Benny is a beautiful, young Rottie who will do best in a home with no small children or small dogs. ** ADOPTION DETAILS: Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $400, including a non-refundable $25 application fee. Story

Tyson was found by Animal Control when they did a wellness check on another dog. This poor sweetheart had been attacked by another dog, had paint spilled on him during the fight and was full of infection from his injuries. Despite all of this, he was incredibly sweet and allowed the Officers to safely remove him and the vets to treat him. Tyson came to our rescue shortly thereafter and has continued his healing and veterinary care. He has a mild limp from residual swelling from his attack which continues to improve and doesn't slow him down in the least. Tyson is a very chill, even -tempered Rottie who will make a great companion!! . Tyson is approximately 2 - 3, good with most dogs, neutered, fully vaccinated and HW negative. He fits in wonderfully with his Rottie foster family, but he really needs to find a home of his own. ** ADOPTION DETAILS: Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. Cassie just turned 2. She arrived to our rescue very emaciated but with great vet and foster care, she recovered and is thriving. She is dog friendly (both sexes), kid friendly and okay with horses! Crate trained, hw negative and spayed. Currently 48 pounds but we expect her to gain a bit more weight. RHR Rain as described by her foster: 7 yo, rather calm yet playful, spayed female. Knows sit….. kisses her humans with lots of tongue 😜 loves kitties. Can be bossy but listens to corrections. Slings rope toy around that could give concussions. Alerts to strangers but not a barker. Fascinated or infatuated with shadows. Adorable in all the right ways. She is independent but loves affection too. Rain is spayed, UTD on vaccines and heartworm negative. She is CAT-FRIENDLY. She loves all of her foster brothers and sisters except a small female. Crate trained and house broke. 70 pounds at her last vet check.
