Story
Meet Bubba Bubba Gimp is such an impressive Rottie boi! He loves his humans and will protect them from every leaf, cat, goat, or anything else that may try to get them! Other than his humans, his favorite thing in life is tennis balls!!!! He LIVES for toys, but a good tennis ball takes the cake, and he will play with it for hours!! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, & house and crate trained; although in a new home, I would expect some accidents as he learns new routines. This boy has been through so much in his 4yrs already, he needs a patient and understanding home to love him, keep him safe, and let him just be a good dog, which includes being patient and letting him get to know men in the home. He will take treats from men, but will then turn and try to nip that same hand that fed him for the first couple of days. He will overcome this distrust with time and lots of treats and positive reinforcement, so much so that currently his favorite human is his foster dad! Bubba is a tri-pawd due to sustaining a gunshot injury after getting loose from his previous owner's yard, and also underwent heartworm treatment last year & is now HW-. Despite all of that, he is a happy fun-loving kind of dog. When it comes to other dogs, Bubba tends to give what he gets so if you have another dog you'd like him to live with, a meet & greet is required. To start the adoption process for the tennis ball CHAMP please head to wagontailsfarm.org/adopt

Story
Meet this adorable pup named Mooshy! Mooshy and her sister, RJ, came into the shelter on December 15, 2025 when their owner had too many animals and could no longer care for them. At just 1 year and 1 month old, Mooshy is still very much a puppy and learning the ropes of shelter life. With all the new smells, barking dogs, and unfamiliar faces, the shelter can be a bit intimidating for a young pup. Thanks to the patience, love, and encouragement from our staff and volunteers, Mooshy is making great progress and soaking up all the kindness being shared with her. Mooshy’s sister RJ is a bit more shy of the two, but once RJ sees Mooshy heading out for a walk, she happily follows along. Watching them run and chase each other in the play yard is pure joy! Mooshy weighs around 48 pounds—just the perfect size for someone looking for companionship and a lifetime of love. Because she’s still young, Mooshy will thrive in a loving home that can help guide her, teach her the basics, and give her plenty of time to adjust to her new people, home, and routine. With patience and love, she’s sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion. Stop by for a visit with Mooshy—you might just find your new best friend!

Meet Marceline! 💕 Marceline is a sweet Boxer/Shepherd mix who is all about love and snuggles. This affectionate girl adores people and is happiest when she’s close to her humans. Marceline already knows how to sit and is eager to please, making her a wonderful companion who just wants to give (and receive) love. Marceline is tested positive for heartworms. She has completed her treatment and is ready to be adopted. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who’s equal parts cuddly and fun, Marceline is your girl! 🐾
