Story
Meet Bear! This handsome guy was turned in as a "stray" by his owners, and while we aren't sure why they gave up on him, he is hoping you'll give him a second chance. We are still getting to know Bear, but so far we can tell you he is an easy going guy and is about as handsome as they come! Bear appears to be potty trained and knows some other basic skills like "sit". He is good with other dogs, and if you have other animals at home we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Bear home. If you are interested in meeting with Bear, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Story
Hi! My name is Dozer and I’m a playful, goofy, sweet and loving boy. I’m 3 years old and a Rottweiler - Bully mix. I currently weigh 90 lbs. I like to think I have the cutest, squishiest face. I love all things… especially sleeping, toys, and my blankie. When I say love, sometimes I love a little too hard especially for my people. I am known to be protective with those I love and my space. I like to play rough, some might say a bit too rough, however I have never bit or hurt anyone. I’d like to think I never would. I haven’t had a lot of consistency in my short life to teach me boundaries. I’m willing to learn! I’m looking for a new home, one where I am the only dog and there are no kids (for now). I’m not quite sure how I feel about those little humans yet. I also need a yard to play in to burn off all my energy. I promise I’d make a great companion. I love to snuggle and pretend I’m a lap dog. I promise to make you feel safe and loved, as long as you do the same for me!

Story
Henry and Raaz are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They were bonded as puppies and rely on each other for emotional stability. I got them two years ago and Henry is 6 turning 7 soon on April 4th. Raaz is 7. They are very kind dogs who are moderately trained with tricks, going to their crates independently and giving space when needed. Henry is the goofball of the two. While he is a bit of a doofus, he is such a lover boy. His favorite things are playing with the laser, getting pets and chicken fat as a special treat. Raaz is a grumpy old lady with a heart of gold. She shows her young spirit when playing ball or laser and she loves Beggin for Bacon dog treats (or even better, real bacon). There has been some family medical issues and I am no longer able to home or take care of them properly. They will come with their crates that they recognize as their room and I will provide half a months food that goes with their diet. They both love a sprinkler in the summer as well

Story
Looking for an older pup to share your home with? Meet Ricardio! This sweet boy came to us as a stray, and we're not sure why no one came looking for his handsome lad. But Ricardio doesn't let that get him down, he's just as spritely and happy as ever! Ricardio is in good shape for an older middle aged pup, and aside from his handsome salt-and-pepper face you'd never know his age. He is out of all that high energy puppy stage, but more than happy to accompany you for a walk or a lap around the yard. Ricardio is ready to find his retirement home and a family he can give all his love to! If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Ricardio home. If you are interested in meeting Ricardio, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
