Story
Roxxie is a 6 year old Rottie. She has been with us since she was a puppy, and was raised with other dogs. Her preference is to be an only dog though, as most dogs she is not a fan of. The only exception was her older brother who passed away last year. She’s never been around cats, but is an avid critter hunter and catcher, so I don’t imagine she’d get along with cats very well. She does have a bit of food aggression, and does the Rottie Rumble when playing with her toys. She would do well in a home with older kids, but the reason we are having to rehome her is that we have not been able to have her around our toddler. She will growl and/or raise her hair to him, and we don’t trust having her around him. She still loves and plays with our older children. She loves pets and all the anttention, and sitting at your feet. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye, but I know it’s best for her and for us to be able to live her best life in a new home.

Story
Marcus is a two-year-old, rottweiler/husky mix with a lot of energy and love to give. Marcus has been living with me for just over a year, but we eventually found out that my partner is unfortunately allergic to his dander. His energy needs are also a bit more than I (and my senior dog) can meet. He would do great with a runner or a big backyard/farm where he can chase things to his heart's content. He's a total snuggle bug when he's calm and will happily spend entire evenings with this head in your lap, but also LOVES to play and wrestle. He could definitely use someone who has experience training, though, as he likes to play nip when he gets bored. He is, however, very trainable and happy to do what you ask for a treat. His experience with other dogs is mixed, since he has been known to have some leash reactivity. He's a definite no-go for any homes with cats, though! Are you ready to snuggle up with this smiley goofball?

I’m four years old and I like to think I’ve mastered the art of being a really good girl 🥰 🖼️ I’m crate trained, potty trained, and I have wonderful house manners. Honestly, I’m pretty happy just hanging out nearby while you do your thing. I can relax in my crate, but I’m also perfectly fine lounging on my own even if you’re just in the next room. I’m a calm, easygoing kind of girl ☺️ I love the simple things in life. Going for walks and sniffing all the interesting smells, playing with my toys 🧸 and then curling up nearby for a cozy nap 💤 I’m also a big fan of pets, cuddles, and giving the occasional kiss 😚 If you start scratching my ears, I might just lean into you and stay there for a while. I’m a polite lady too I know sit and shake, and I’m always happy to show off my good manners. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having friends around 🐾 Oh… and if you happen to have meatballsor hot dogs 🌭 , we’re probably going to become best friends immediately. Just saying. More than anything, I’m a love bug who just wants a person to cuddle with, go on little adventures with, and spend quiet evenings together. I promise to be the sweetest companion you could ask for.

Story
Apollo is an amazing dog, he’s very protective of the family and does great with other pets and kids. He absolutely loves to play and shows no aggression whatsoever. We would love to keep him, but unfortunately, with our baby we cannot give him the time and attention needed. He definitely needs a lot more land to be able to run and play. He has a great big smile that can look scary, but once she realized that he is actually smiling, it is quite funny. Apollo also has a best friend/sister Marley who is an Australian Shepherd who we would love to have them together with if possible.
