I’m a petite little lady with a dainty frame, but don’t let that fool you… I’ve got a surprising amount of spunk packed into this tiny body 🤭 My favorite things in life are the simple ones: nice walks, cozy warm beds, and treats of any kind (seriously… I’m not picky). I’m also a great passenger in the car 🚗 so if you like little adventures or just running errands with a buddy, I’m happy to ride along ☺️ I’m very proud to say I’m a perfect house guest. I’m 100% potty trained and haven’t had a single accident in the house, even though my foster mom works long hours, she’s a nurse 🩺 I walk nicely on a leash, I’m polite, and I’m just happy being part of the routine. I do take a little medicine for my hips, but as long as you tuck it into something tasty, I’ll take it very gently like the good girl I am 😇After that, you’ll probably see my little nub wagging away because I’m always happy to be near my people. I’m generally social with other dogs, but like any polite lady, I prefer slow and thoughtful introductions. Once I feel comfortable, I can enjoy their company, but if I’m being honest… humans are really my favorite 🥰I just love being close to my person, laying beside you, keeping you company, and soaking up all the love. Oh! And I should probably warn you about one of my special talents… when the fire trucks go by, I like to sing along. 🚒🎤🎶 Yep. I’ll throw my head back and give them a little howl. I think it’s hilarious. My foster family does too. I’m about eight years old now, which means I’m in my golden years. I’m not looking for chaos or anything fancy. I’m just dreaming 💭 about a gentle, loving home where I can relax, be adored, and spend my days right beside my person. Maybe we could sit on the porch together, watch the cars go by, and share a quiet morning with a cup of coffee while I rest at your feet. I ended up in the shelter, which is no place for a sweet girl who just wants to love and be loved. But I know my person is out there somewhere 🥹 If you’re looking for a loyal little companion, a porch sitting buddy, a car ride co pilot, and a professional fire truck singer… I might just be your girl.

Honestly, I’m pretty happy just hanging out nearby while you do your thing. I can relax in my crate, but I’m also perfectly fine lounging on my own even if you’re just in the next room. I’m a calm, easygoing kind of girl ☺️ I love the simple things in life. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she has time to warm up, she quickly becomes a loyal companion who wants to be right by your side. Lil Debbie would thrive in a home with someone who is familiar with the Rottweiler breed and understands the unique needs and personality of these wonderful dogs.Because Lil Debbie can be a bit reserved at first, she would do best in a home with children 13 years and older who can respect her space and give her time to feel comfortable. With patience and understanding, her sweet and affectionate personality really begins to shine.Lil Debbie has shown potential to live with another dog, as long as they are a good match and introductions are done slowly to help set everyone up for success. At this time, we are unsure how she would do around cats.Currently, Lil Debbie is recovering from a pelvic injury and will need about three weeks of cage rest while she heals. Story

Roxxie is a 6 year old Rottie. She has been with us since she was a puppy, and was raised with other dogs. Her preference is to be an only dog though, as most dogs she is not a fan of. The only exception was her older brother who passed away last year. She's never been around cats, but is an avid critter hunter and catcher, so I don't imagine she'd get along with cats very well. She does have a bit of food aggression, and does the Rottie Rumble when playing with her toys. She would do well in a home with older kids, but the reason we are having to rehome her is that we have not been able to have her around our toddler. She will growl and/or raise her hair to him, and we don't trust having her around him. She still loves and plays with our older children. She loves pets and all the anttention, and sitting at your feet. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye, but I know it’s best for her and for us to be able to live her best life in a new home.
