Hi, I’m Waylon ❤️‍🩹 I’m still on a bit of a journey right now. My leg and a few other things have been giving me a hard time, so I’m not quite ready for a forever home yet 🥺 I need a special team of humans to help me with my medical care, and I’m getting the very best care every single day. It has been a long, emotional road, and it has taken a lot financially, physically, and emotionally, but I am surrounded by people who are committed to helping me heal and get stronger 💪 Even though I’m working through some things, I have a whole lot of love to give. I get along with other dogs, and I seem to do well with cats and kids too. I can already tell that when my day comes, I’m going to be the kind of dog who melts your heart 💕 and my story is going to be one for the books 📖 Whoever decides to wait for me and welcome me into their life will be incredibly blessed 🙏🏽 For now, I’m just taking it one day at a time, and I would love for you to follow along on my journey. Hi, I’m Lennon 🎀 and I’m 3 years old. I don’t really understand how I ended up at a high kill shelter. One day I had a name and the next day my life was signed away like it didn’t matter 🥺 That part still shocks my rescue. But here’s the thing about me, I didn’t let it make me hard. It just made me softer 🧸 Because I am, quite possibly, the sweetest cutie pie you’ll ever meet. 🥧 I’m great on the leash. I actually enjoy our little walks, I like to stroll, not sprint. I’m not training for the Olympics or anything. I’m much more interested in perfecting my professional cuddler skills. I Love car rides 🚙 Windows down, ears flopping, little tail nub wiggling like crazy 😊 I’m potty trained and crate trained, gold star student ⭐ I give gentle kisses anytime you need one! Having a sad day, you get a Kiss. Happy day, you get a Kiss. Just existing, I’ll Definitely give you a kiss. My tail nub wags so hard it looks like I’m trying to power the house 🔌 I love to be pet ❤️ Belly, neck, back, that little spot by my tail, I will happily melt into a full pancake position for optimal petting access 🥞 💕 If you sit down, I assume you’re inviting me to cuddle. 🥰 If you lay down, Even better. I will be your weighted blanket! I get along with everyone. Truly. My foster caught me being hugged by another dog, cough cough Bosco 😊 and I didn’t even mind. That boy likes to cuddle and honestly, Same. Then there’s Dino, another real Rottweiler rescue boy, who is always up in my face trying to say hi. I just blink at him like, “Hi, friend.” We are all great dogs. No drama here. Just vibes with that boy! 💙 I would be perfect for a family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 I have that gentle, steady, loving energy. I’m not the dog bouncing off the walls! I’m the dog curled up next to you while you watch TV 📺 resting my head on your leg, sighing like I’ve waited my whole life for this moment, Because I kind of have 💕 All I want is a couch to share, hands to pet me, and people to love. I promise to give you soft eyes, gentle kisses, and the happiest little nub wags you’ve ever seen💛 I may have been signed away once… But I’m ready to be chosen forever. 💕

Meet Piper 💕 (or… maybe Grandma Piper? Or Baby Piper? Even I’m not sure.) Hi friends! It’s me Piper 💜 I just left the shelter on 2/23 and let me tell you, what a glow up already 🌟. I got a bath the second I walked out the doors and guess what? I didn’t even mind the hairdryer one bit Honestly, I think I might be a spa girl 🛁🫧 Now about my age right now your guess is as good as mine 🤨 The shelter is not the best at guessing maybe 4 Or 5 Or 2 who knows till I go to the vet! If I could talk, I’d clear this up for everyone, but since I can’t, let’s just make it a guessing game 🎰 Am I a wise old soul, A youthful queen, Somewhere in the middle? So far the only thing everyone agrees on is that I’m perfect, and I feel like that’s the best number anyway ☺️ My foster says I am extremely gentle and super soft like, can’t stop petting me soft. 😃 I’m very dog friendly and have been nothing but sweet 🍭 And we accidentally discovered that I’m cat friendly too 🫣 The cat didn’t get put away before I walked in the door, and surprise 😮 I did amazing. I guess I’m just naturally polite ☺️🌟 They’re still learning about me because I literally just left the shelter, but so far I’ve been calm, easygoing, and so loving❤️ It looks like I may have been a mama at some point. We don’t know where my puppies are, and that part makes the humans a little sad 😔 But what we do know is that I’m safe now. I’m with a rescue And I’m going to be loved for the rest of my life 💕 I am pretty skinny right now, but that won’t last long. I’ve got good meals and good care coming my way, and I’ll be filling out soon. For now, I’m just soaking up the safety, the kindness, and the soft beds☺️ I wish I could tell you more about myself. I really do. But since I can’t actually talk, you’ll just have to follow along while we figure me out together ❤️❤️ So far though? So far it’s perfect. 💕🐾

Hi. I’m Dexter 💙 I’m 2 years old boy, that will have the built of a linebacker once I grocery shop a little more! Im powered by zoomies, and currently trying out for the Astros during spring training ⚾️ So if you’ve got a good pitching arm, we’re going to get along just fine 🧢 I’ve got speed, enthusiasm, and absolutely no brakes 🫷 I don’t totally understand how big I am yet. If I fits, I sit ☺️ And if I don’t fit, I still sit 🫣 Tables, plant pots, and anything decorative are living on borrowed time 🫣 I try to fold myself into spaces clearly made for dogs half my size ☺️ I call it talent! But here’s the real me 😌 I’m actually a big, goofy, sweet boy who just wants his person. Once I know you’re mine, I will love you with everything I’ve got🥰. I have light brown eyes that will melt your heart, and when I relax, I sit like a frog 🐸 . It’s adorable I know it. I do need someone experienced with Rotties or other strong breeds because I’m smart 🧠 and strong and still learning 📖 I didn’t always have enough food, so at mealtime I eat like it might disappear 🫥 We’re working on my manners, and I’m trying really hard. When you’ve been hungry, you learn to move fast 💨 I’m also rebuilding trust. If someone approaches too quickly or comes toward me with objects in their hands, I can get unsure and get nervous 😬 my rumble might come out and not because I’m mean. It’s because I’m still learning that I’m safe now. I need a patient, steady hand who will give me time and consistency. 🥹 I’m still gaining weight because I came in skin and bones 🦴 I was failed more than once, but I haven’t given up on people. I believe my family is out there. I’d do best in a home without young kids or older adults because sometimes my excitement comes in hot and I forget about things like personal space and stopping 🫷 What I really want is a loving, experienced Rottweiler family who understands big boys and even bigger hearts 💕 Someone who will give me structure, patience, and a real chance. In return, you’ll get the silliest, most loyal, ball chasing, frog sitting best friend you could ever ask for 🥰 I promise to guard your house, warm your couch, and love you with my whole giant heart. 💙

If you know where he belongs please call our office at 3307259121 The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.
