Hi! My name is Lui.I’m a gentle soul looking for a quiet, loving home where I can feel like myself again. I’m a little shy at first at the shelter. I am still learning to be confident, but with patience and kindness, I start to come out of my shell. Once I trust you, you’ll see my soft tail wags, my sweet heart, and the brave little steps I take every day. I just need someone willing to go slow, believe in me, and watch me bloom. My ideal home involves: Children: No thank you Other dogs: I do well with other dogscats: unknown- has never lived with cats First time dog owner: Experienced owner Fenced in Yard: Yes - 6feet fence House: house with a yard fenced in/ apartment Someone home most of the day: left alone for an 8hr work day is fine. Story
Meet Raptor, a sweet and affectionate boy who came to us after his family could no longer care for him. When Raptor arrived, he was struggling with severe skin and ear infections. After initial treatment with topical and oral medications, we saw some improvement. However, the relief was temporary, so we decided to make a dietary change to better manage his dermatologic conditions. Since then, Raptor has thrived! His skin and ears have cleared up completely, and he no longer needs topical or oral medication. He still enjoys weekly medicated baths, and his future family will be able to continue this routine as Raptor absolutely loves bath time! Raptor is a happy, energetic boy who enjoys going for walks and spending time with his people. He’s looking for a family that can keep up with his energy and offer him the love and attention he deserves. If you’re looking for a big, sweet guy to join your family, Raptor just might be the perfect match for you!

Story
Choi is one strong guy! Most of the time he is tough and determined, but once he accepts you into his circle he is a real cuddle bear. He is so very loyal. Choi enjoys spending his days doing lots of tricks for treats, playing ball, and getting all the pets he can. Sometimes he'll even sit on your lap! When we first rescued Choi he had no leash manners or training. His reactivity and protective behaviour was very intense. Throughout the months of working with him we have seen a huge change in Choi. He is extremely food motivated and enjoys structure. He would benefit from someone who is active, has experience with dogs of his demeanor, and will have the time to continue his training long term. Choi would do best in an adult only home with no other pets, in a quiet environment. He can still be reactive towards dogs, vehicles, and strangers at times. Choi could go to a home with teens depending on the family's experience as a whole.
