Story
Brutus is a 4yr old Rottweiler, he has AKC papers, shots are up to date, and he’s neutered. He’s a stubborn goofball who is very food motivated and fairly trainable, He is very intelligent when he chooses to be and can ring a bell to go potty he’s also muzzle and kennel trained for the most part however may need some refreshers on the kennel as we don’t use it often. Brutus has reactivity issues and does not get along with other dogs, cats, and strangers. Due to this Brutus has some special care needs and requires a stable and somewhat controlled environment. We adopted Brutus about 2yrs ago unaware of his behavioral issues we have worked with him a lot however there is still a lot of work to be done. His previous family had children however we do not. I have had him around kids and that has been fine with no issues however, I feel he would thrive best in a home without children. we want to find a home that better suits his needs! He will continue to live us until that home is found!

Story
We adopted bear from this site when he was 1 year old. He is now 10, and still as beautiful and magnificent as ever. He loves the rivers and lakes. When it comes to security he's worth his wait in gold. He is extremely loyal. We moved from a 4.5 acer lot to a tinny apartment, and were not able to keep him. He has been living at a friends for the last 8 months, and now she has to move and can't keep him.

Story
Hello, I`m Chop! I`m about 4 years old and weigh 84 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done okay meeting dogs large at the shelter. I get too excited by small dogs and should only live with a dog my size. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet.Cats? I am very excited by smaller creatures and will chase them. I should not live with any cats.Kids? I can be kind of nervous and then jumpy once I get to know you. 10+I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Meet Breaker – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Breaker is a handsome Great Dane mix a little over a year old who is ready to find an active, committed family to call his own. At around 65 pounds, he’s a wonderful blend of big-dog presence and goofy puppy charm. Breaker is currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, but he can be transported to the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast United States for the right home. Breaker thrives on activity and he still has that classic puppy energy, so he’s looking for a family that understands the importance of positive correction, consistency, and continued training to help him grow into the best version of himself. With the right guidance, Breaker is eager to learn and please. One of Breaker’s favorite things in the world is going on adventures. He absolutely loves riding in the car and would be thrilled to tag along for hikes, outings, road trips, or any fun day spent exploring with his people. Water is another big favorite—splashing, wading, and cooling off are right up his alley. When playtime rolls around, Breaker is all in. He loves toys of all kinds and enjoys playing with dogs his own size. Most of all, Breaker wants to be with his people. He would happily spend the entire day with his family, whether that means being on the go or just hanging out together. If you’re an active household looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion to share life’s adventures, Breaker may be the perfect match for you.
