Hi, I`m Candy Land! I`m about 3 months old and weigh 15 lbs.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **I am a young puppy and I still have a lot to learn! I need a family that has time to train me and interact with me. My new family should be prepared to take me to puppy training classes to help me master the basics. It is important for me to continue socializing so I grow up to love children, adults and other animals.Greenhill is committed to my continued growth and success, which is pretty cool! For this to happen, my post adoption training is crucial. It is very important to consider puppy training classes and to educate yourself on proper training techniques as to ensure my best upbringing.I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs.
