Story
Walden is the best boy, even though we have no idea what he breed mix is. Shelter put him as a Swiss Mt Dog mix, but he is way smaller. He is gentle and loving and affectionate and goofy. He loves to play and explore and is very eager to please. Walden does great in any situation and wonderful with other dogs, but not good with cats. He loves his squeaky toys and hikes, but also loves to chill on the couch and watch TV with his family. Walden is almost 4 years old and a lean 57 lbs. Truly just a wonderful dog, in need of a forever family. A must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   March 28, 2026, 8:23 pm

Story
Macy is likely a 3 year old spayed (now) of Pit Bull or Rottweiler /Pit Bull mix that was found as a stray dog in Pittston, Pa. But nobody reclaimed her after being posted on lost dog Facebook pages for 4 months. So the person who found her asked our rescue to find her a good home. She weighs 53 lbs. The person that found her and brought Macy to his home initially was growling at the owner's small dog while it was jumping into her face and barking. But the person believed she was stressed out by coming into a new home after being lost or abandoned and having a dog jump in her face! So they immediately separated the two dogs and never left them together! So we really don't know yet if she is dog friendly or not, but we will test her with other dogs soon! We know she is not cat friendly when we recently cat tested her. She is currently vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworm/Lyme and two other tick borne diseases! All negative on everything luckily! She is absolutely people and kid friendly! Housetrained too! Calm in the home!! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Macy please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org ##2648380##

Story
Shiloh????is breaking down in the kennels. The constant barking, noise, chaos is stressing her beyond her limits. The kennel environment isnt kind to a pup who needs to exert energy, one who stresses easily or was previously part of a quiet lifestyle . We unfortunately have no way of knowing this girls past but we know she is not happy here. It may not have mattered to the people who put her in this position but it matters to us. A 2-year-old Doberman mix • weighs 62 lbs • High-energy sweetheartMeet Shiloh, our gorgeous, goofy ball of energy! At just 2 years old, this Doberman mix is smart, athletic, and always ready for the next adventure. She’s looking for an active person or family who can give her plenty of exercise and mental enrichment—think walks, hikes, puzzle toys, basic training, and fun games to keep that bright brain busy.Shiloh has tested well with both dogs and kids here at the shelter. However, she does get excited and has a tendency to jump, and she doesn’t always realize her own strength. She’s about 62 pounds and not huge in size, but her enthusiasm can make her feel like a bit of a “bull in a china shop” at times. Because of this, she’ll do best with a home that’s comfortable working on manners and providing structure, especially around younger children. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and give you tons of love, Shiloh might be your perfect match. She’s ready to learn, ready to play, and most of all, ready to finally have a home of her own.Interested in meeting Shiloh?
