Story
She was born 9/29/2020 she was adopted on 12/21/2020 through keystone puppies in PA. She has AKC papers. She’s had one family since she was 3 months. She will be three years soon. She was trained from K9 off Leash training in DE when she was 7 months old. The trainers will work with a new owner if they wanted to continue the ECollar training. The payment for training is already included any retraining for the rest of her life. She knows all commands- sit, stay, place, extended stay, recall, drop, off and heel. She walks well on leash and off leash with the collar. Most of the time she will comply with any command at the sound of a snap. Although she has always been around smaller cats/dogs and kids- it’s no longer a good atmosphere. She occasionally snapped at the other dogs when she wanted space and now once at a child. She would be safer and really thrive in a home with no children or dogs. She’s very sweet and so smart. Everything you’d want in this breed of dog

Story
Kia is a 2 year old unaltered female. She is a very smart little cookie. Kia knows sit, shake, lay down, and twirl. She is a little shy at first but once you get to know here she will steal your heart. She would need to meet any dogs that she would be living with as she is selective.

Story
Zeus is full of personality and playfulness, and puppyish behaviors he's working on we'll describe below. He is like a much younger dog than his shelter paperwork says. While it says 3, we believe he is more between 1 and 2. He was surrendered, along with a female, by a family who was forced to leave their residence. We were only able to take in this love. Zeus adores humans, whether they are his own family or other people he meets. Even the vet and techs! He will never turn down attention or being petted. Zeus is housebroken and the other thing about Zeus is he loves his crate! He will often put himself in his crate with a toy and entertain himself or put himself to bed. His fosters speak about his crate behavior and his playful antics fondly. He is also addicted to peanut butter which makes giving him medication easy peasy Zeus rides well in the car but at times he will react to cars driving by. He barks actively at the window. It's funny because he doesn't do it all the time. On leash, he would love to chase bunnies and squirrels, but is responsive to correction or can be distracted. His foster is using a Freedom Harness on him to control his pace. He currently goes on a 1.5 mile walk twice a day and walked half an hour at night before bedtime. Zeus' puppy behaviors are interest in shredding paper, paper towels, and towels, even as he is sitting with you, but is responsive to correction. Likewise, he is a shoe, slipper, and sock stealer, but gives them up easily. He is just as likely to grab a toy or his stuffed kong, it's more of a "I'm just looking for something to do" kind of thing. His toys should not include those that are stuffed or have squeakers as they will have a short life. Very short life. On the plus side, he has no problem letting you pick up all the pieces of stuffing and fabric he has left in his wake. He loves to play tug with you, and very mindful of your hands. We don't get too crazy, but he puts it right on his foster mom's knee after he wins, and shakes it. He's a happy guy, just needs training in areas we expect in young dogs. He is not at a point in which he can be trusted uncrated when home alone. As for cats, kids, and other dogs. We are saying no cats because of his interest in small creatures. His foster mom said he's obsessed with looking out her sliding door, jumping at it, and kind of whining at 2 feral cats. He is getting better at listening to "leave it " when she chases him away. As for kids, they will need to be at least 12 and 'sturdy'. He is 113 lbs of puppy love and doesn't know his own strength. He still may jump on new people in his excitement to say hello (we are working on this too and it's not all the time), but like with everything else, he listens to correction. With other dogs, definitely no small or even medium sized dogs. He needs big like him lol. He is a strong player and his exuberance often causes him to forget respecting the personal space of other dogs. A large, tolerant, non-reactive female would be best with Zeus. If you have the experience and home that matches this handsome boy's needs, please submit the application on www.kodisclub.org/applications to be considered.

Story
Smiling Sadie is a beautiful representation of a 5 year old purebred Rottweiler! Her previous owner allowed her to roam freely, so she has had multiple litters of puppies and was recently spayed but when she was dropped off at the vet office, the owner never returned to get her.  This poor girl was abandoned and now we are trying to help her find a good home.  Smiling Sadie deserves a loving forever home where she can be spoiled rotten for the first time in her life!  What we know about this girl is that she a FUN DOG, goofy and she loves to play fetch the ball.  A home with children over 10 yrs is best due to her size and energy.  She has shown a ton of improvement with socialization while in foster care and can be considered for a home with other dogs that are large and share her energy level and play style.  A meet and greet will be required first.  No Cats or small animals should be in the home.  We just cannot say that we trust her with the small creatures.  If you are out of state we can adopt to you, but not if you have other pets or dogs.  She could easily be an ONLY dog but if she goes on a trial run in Tennessee, she is close enough for a return if things don't work out.  She is pretty good on a leash and almost housebroken.  She is a strong girl that is loving and just wants some attention. PLEASE EMAIL AT ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 28, 2023, 9:19 am

Story
Pending divorce is leaving the dog uncared for mostly. He east only when food is left on the floor\ground due to him being afraid of bowls. When he was very young, he knocked over a metal food bowl and it made a loud noise. He never recovered,,, He hates thunder and fireworks. He acts aggressive around strangers, but warms up to new people in minutes. Hes pretty scared of other dogs, especially small dogs. This makes no sense, but he is terrified of leaning street signs, large plastic bags put out for trash, and cardboard boxes. He has chased and caught up to cats and opossums. He trampled the opossum and whined when it played dead. He looked at me when he caught up to the cat. He acts tough, but he isn't. I was asked to leave my home and cannot be there to take care of him pending a divorce.

Story
Meet Trinity Her hobbies include snuggling, snacking and strolling...Trinity came to ARC when her owner passed away- she is an 8 year old, Rottie. She is happy to greet everyone she meets and hasn't met a person she didn't like, how could you not love this face?! Trinity is dreaming of a cushy couch to lay on and a basket FULL of toys she can call her own with a family that loves and cares for her. Trinity can't be placed in a home with other female dogs but is open to meeting other male dogs ( a meet and greet would be required at our shelter for any potential canine siblings). Trinity is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Trinity, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (it can be found under the adoptable dogs section).
