Meet Candy! Candy is 2 years old and was surrendered to the shelter when her owner lost her home. If ever a dog adored people, this is the girl. She is wonderful when people come to visit. She snuggles right up to company, including children. She loves to be petted and is a cuddler. Her house manners are wonderful. While she does pull a bit on the leash, if rewarded with kibble, every time walked she stayed beside her foster and didn’t pull. She did very well since she's quite the foodie lol. Candy races up and down her fenced in yard when the neighbor's dogs come out to play and loves to sniff other dogs through the fence, but she really isn't a girl who wants to rough and tumble with other dogs. She's more about peaceful coexistence or just the companionship of humans. Candy enjoys balls and toys very much and is good at entertaining herself if her human is busy. She LOVES car rides! I had to move into a 2 br apartment with no area for animals to run or lay in the sun, which she loves to do both. I am a single mom with a disability which has been getting worse myself but I also have my disabled mom with me whom I care for as well. I do have a teen and my tiny yorkie. I have raised Zena from pup when I was in a house but with her as big as she is and my disability I'm just not able. I am trying to rehome her so she not taken to shelter but in reality I have tough decisions within next 2 weeks. I just want her to be loved and cared for properly with a yard to run i dont want her to be used just for babies and if that is the case i would be open to one litter for the $350 fee if no mating involved then just the $50 im very easy to work with i just want the very best for her she is a great friend. Also 1st day into heat today 5/1/26
