Story
Awww, sweet boy Rowdy. He was purchased from a garage sale for a "grandson" then dumped after just 4 days because he was no longer wanted. What the heck ?? We are glad he is here. Rowdy has a calm demeanor when kept on our puppy schedule. He is also crate trained and eager to learn. He is very loveable and will do anything for praise. Rowdy is a great pup that should be 45 to 50 lbs when full grown. We honestly have no idea what he is, but with his smaller stature and feet, we feel that how big he should get.He is a doll waiting on his first forever home.

Story
Brody may only be 6 months old but he’s already a 65 lb professional heart-melter. This floppy-eared goofball is equal parts brain and brawn—he’s got his sit and down game on lock, has mastered how to strut his stuff on a loose leash, is rocking his stay, and is crate trained like a champ. Basically, he’s an overachiever in a fur coat. When he’s not busy being the teacher’s pet, Brody is living his best life—romping around with his doggy BFFs, then flopping down dramatically to make snuggling him irresistible. It’s called balance. He’s vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered (don’t worry, he took it like a champ). While he’s an all-star pup in every way, Brody’s still young, strong, and needing guidance—so he’s looking for an experienced adopter who can help him continue to thrive with structure, training, and lots of love. All he needs now is a forever home, preferably one with lots of exercise, adventures, snacks, belly rubs, and someone who appreciates his sitcom-level charm. Transport is available! Not able to adopt? Please share this post so we can find Brody his special person. If you’re ready for Brody to steal your heart, don't call! Submit your no-obligation adoption application on our website at: www.AlmostHomeDogRescueNC.com, and an Adoption Coach will contact you by phone to tell you all about this striking boy. We look forward to speaking with you! Follow us on Facebook @AlmostHomeDogRescueNC

Story
Meet Kaylee! This sweet girl was brought to us with her 5 puppies, Brock, Bravo, Brax, Brigg, and Britt. Fill out an application to give this Rottweiler mix a furever home! To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. For more information about CARE and to see our adoption application, go to our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org
