Story
Meet Dr. Pepper, Dr Pepper is a handsome 2-year-old Rottweiler with a calm, easygoing personality and a steady, gentle spirit. Despite his strong and striking appearance, he’s truly a soft-hearted boy who enjoys a peaceful environment and the comfort of being near his people. He has a tolerant, well-mannered nature and tends to take life at a relaxed pace. Dr Pepper isn’t the type to demand constant activity—instead, he’s happiest when he’s sharing quiet moments, lounging nearby, or enjoying calm companionship. Because of his temperament, he would do best in a home with another low-energy, respectful dog who matches his chill vibe.Dr Pepper is ready to be someone’s loyal shadow and devoted friend. He’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and offers steady companionship to those lucky enough to know him. With a patient and loving home, he will continue to blossom into an even more confident and cherished family member. If you`re looking for a calm, dependable companion with a big heart and a gentle soul, Dr Pepper may be the perfect match. Come meet him and see if this sweet boy is the missing piece to your family.Come see him today at the Berkeley Campus, weekdays 12-3 and weekends 10-5.

Story
Hi, I’m Piper! I’ve been with my current family for about a month, and they’ve already found out just how playful and loving I am. I’m fully housetrained and know some great basics like sit, come, drop it, and more—I’m even working on a few new tricks!I love to play ball (I could go for hours!) and I’m always up for cuddles and belly rubs. I can be a little shy with men at first, but I warm up, and I’m friendly and excited to meet women. I haven’t met kids, so slow introductions will be important.I’m still learning to feel comfortable being alone, but crate training with a cozy setup has been helping me a lot. I’m a young, fun girl who can get a little silly (and yes… I like to chew, so I’ll need good toys to keep me busy). If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with a gentle heart and a goofy side, I might be your perfect match My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, House-trained,
Story
I have two beautiful Rottweilers that are best friends (one 5 and one 7 years old). They have grown up together with me and my kids. My kids have all moved out and I travel 70% of the time for work and the dogs need a family to engage with them more and be present. They love to play, swim, run and be with people to get attention. They may like a farm with a pond or a house with a big backyard and pool. While I am very sad, I know they need a better living situation than I can provide based on my lifestyle. They are both professionally trained and pure bred. They would need to stay together since they are best friends. They live inside, are domesticated and play outside. They are NOT outside dogs so please do not reach out if you want dogs who live outside in dog houses. I would like to spend some time talking with you if interested to ensure this is the best situation possible for them. Thank you!

Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Freya is the most beautiful girl ever. She is a little over a year and a half old, intact AKC registered ball of love and kisses. She loves with all of her heart especially attached to females and is highly trainable. We adopted Freya from a friend of a friend who didn't have the time to train her. We have had her for almost a year now, and she has made HUGE improvements. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. Her recall is AMAZING! She does love to take herself for walks though. She unfortunately has food and toy aggression which will not work for our household as we have 2 other dogs who are elderly. Also, we are starting our human family and have concerns for when baby is crawling around with that aggression. We truly want what's best for Freya and will not adopt her to just anybody. She is part of our family so this is a really difficult decision to make, but we have to do what's best for her and us. Recommend a home as a solo dog with a fenced in yard
