Story
Meet Enzo – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Enzo is a sweet, goofy, and brave young pup who’s bursting with energy and heart. Athletic and affectionate, he’s the kind of dog who’ll keep you laughing during the day and snuggle up at night. We think Enzo might be a mix of Retriever, Cur, Rottweiler or Shepherd, whatever his blend, it gave him brains, brawn, and a beautiful spirit. He’s strong and eager, always ready for a long walk, a hike, a run, or a wild game of tug-of-war. If you're an active person looking for a loyal STRONG companion, Enzo might just be your perfect match. Enzo is crate trained, food motivated, and knows basic commands like “sit.” He’s also curious, smart, and always up for learning new tricks, especially if there’s a snack involved. While we’re still assessing how he does with other dogs, we’re working with him to build his confidence and social skills. Enzo is the total package: independent but loving, playful but gentle, loyal and endlessly entertaining. If you’re looking for a fun, sweet, and adventurous best friend, Enzo’s your guy. Enzo is very strong, he needs a strong person to be his person. We have a Slatmill, its a treadmill for dogs and he LOVES it, he loves to always be on the move. Enzo is Neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines. Enzo will come with the details of his Embark DNA Test

Story
Molly wants to be your best friend! She’ll charge right up and ounce on you, so get ready. She will playfully wrestle you on the ground , make sure to wear the right clothes for it. While she charges strongly out of confinement, she wears out quickly on account of her extra weight and heavy coat. Some more activity is exactly what she needs to slim down and get some stamina back. Another thing you’ll love is her affectionate nature. Bring on the hugs and pets! You’ll need lots of lint rolling and brushing to clear the shed hair but that’s ok because she loves attention. Finally, you should watch her around other dogs. She often uses her size and weight to control and bully other dogs, except she does well with her buddy scooter, who came to the shelter with her. If you wanted to take two of our dogs home together, this pair is recommended. Otherwise, Molly may do better as the only dog or with another big dog who can handle her dominance. Don’t let that discourage you, as Molly is super fun and entertaining. You’ll really enjoy her! All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. Story
Meet Darlin...at HAA we don't give up on our dogs! This girl has been at our shelter 4 years and 11 months!! How ridiculous is that?! Let me tell you about Darlin. She was found as a stray with a prolapse uterus out on the side of the road. She had to have emergency surgery to save her life. She has recovered from this, she has recovered from heartworms, and lived almost FIVE years in a kennel. She protects her "space" - it's her home. Taken out of her kennel she warms up to people very fast. She has a buddy she plays with - a big Walker hound. She does best with male dogs. She isn't a young pup anymore, so she just likes to hang out with her buddy. This girl needs out of here YESTERDAY! She is a volunteer favorite & looking for a home to call her own.
