Story
Tulsa is about a 1-2 year old possible Rottweiler mixed breed dog looking for his new best friend(s). He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm/flea/tick preventative. Abandoned at a regular dumping area, his finder said this guy was living on Tulsa time. Tulsa seems to think every person he meets is his friend, and greets everyone with all the exuberance of a friendly toddler at the park. Unless your hockey team is looking for an enforcer, he will need to continue the training he's begun in foster care. Plus, I'm willing to bet he's not really good on ice skates. Now, while he may not be able to execute a Mohawk Turn, his good looks and engaging smile always turn heads, so be prepared for all the people wanting to pet that dawg. Tulsa's ideal home would be one without other animals because he's a little vain and wants to be the star of the show. He's looking forward to a home with adoring fans. He'd basically like to become one with you. He loves playing with oversized balls and sitting on your feet, following you from room to room, or even through a forest. He's learning manners and needs a home with someone who has time to spend with him, whether that's hiking or channel surfing. He's definitely down to crack a cold one and watch the Stanley Cup with you. This is one cool dog. Apply to be his number one fan today.

Story
Coco is the sweetest of girls and is looking for her forever family. She is a little shy and prefers a calm environment. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Bowser. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Bowser is a big-hearted, big-energy boy who’s ready to find a home that can keep up with his zest for life. At just 2 years old, this handsome Boxer/Pit Bull mix weighs around 70 pounds and brings a whole lot of love, intelligence, and personality wherever he goes. Bowser is brilliant, energetic, and affectionate. He absolutely adores kids, but because of his strength and enthusiasm, supervision is recommended around younger children. He gets along well with some dogs, but he would truly shine as an only dog, where he can soak up all the attention. Bowser is convinced he’s a lap dog and will happily try to cuddle his way into your heart (and your personal space). He’s also quite vocal and loves to “talk back,” which is endlessly entertaining and makes his personality really stand out. This smart guy already knows several commands, including sit, come, off, heel, no, and lay down. He is fully house-trained with no accidents and is very comfortable in a crate—he even sleeps in one regularly. If you love to run, Bowser might just be your perfect match. Running is his favorite thing in the world! He also loves chasing a ball and playing tug-of-war and will happily keep going long after you’re tired. He needs plenty of space to stretch his legs and burn off energy. Bowser would do best in an active, structured environment. He’d especially love having an active older child or teen (around 13 years old) to run and play with. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you moving and laughing, Bowser might just be your perfect match!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 31, 2025, 12:58 pm
