Story
Beeg is a super sweet Rottie type. He may have some black and tan coon hound. We found him running in the pastures near our farm with some Barb wire marks from going under fences. He had joined up with 2 other stray/abandoned dogs. As soon as we fed him he has become totally attached. He is friendly to people who visit our farm. He plays well and is sweet with other dogs and does not challenge our older dominant dog. Unfortunately he has tested positive for Heart worm. As he is only between 1 and 2 years we are starting topical treatment and expect him to be rid pf them in a few months. He is an energetic dog and does not appear to be affected by this condition.

Story
We're looking for a new home for our lovable goof of a dog, Tyson. Ty is a 6 year old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix who wants to be everyone's best friend. He still has a puppy-like energy at the dog park and on hikes, but he can just as easily have a lazy day sitting with you on the couch. Despite his size (58 lbs), he makes a great lap dog! He loves people so much and is an absolute clown - he will provide you hours of laughs with his goofy, floppy demeanor! We have made the tough decision to rehome Ty because he has gotten more food defensive as he ages, and we now have a young child at home. He and our child have not had any incidents, but we don't want to take any risks moving forward. He gets along with other dogs quite well in social settings, though he's probably just as happy living alone. Ty knows basic commands like sit, bed/crate, and floor. He's a super easy/low-maintenance dog overall, and we know he'll make a great companion for someone out there!

Story
Calzone has a mature essence about him. It’s no surprise this 5 year old pup (possibly a german shepherd rottweiler mix) shows off how smart he is by Sitting on command. Whether it’s a treat or for a photo, Calzone is eager to please. We know that when he finds his fur-ever family he will make an excellent companion for learning commands and exploring. As you will see in Calzone’s video, this fella is playful, loves exploring the play yard, and is hoping that his fur-ever family has a yard for him to run around in! Calzone has been in kennel with another dog, but to ensure compatibility, let our Staff know and schedule a doggy meet up.Calzone is the total package- leash trained, playful, experienced with pups, and smart. Come to AAC and meet him before he gets adopted!
