Story
Fuji is an active, curious boy who enjoys getting out to explore the world with his nose. He appears to be housetrained and loves spending his walks sniffing new scents and investigating his surroundings. He's also food motivated, making treats a great way to build a bond with him. While he enjoys time in the play yard, he's more interested in exploring than playing and will happily let you know when he's ready to head out.Fuji is resistant to returning to his kennel, so patience, high-value treats, and positive reinforcement go a long way. With continued training, structure, and regular exercise, Fuji has all the potential to become a wonderful companion for an active home ready to help him build confidence and polish his leash manners. Canela has such a wonderful personality and is such a sweet girl. She’s playful and loves fetch with her stuffies (she’s pretty good at dropping them for you to toss too!). She also loves playing in the little puppy pools, and splashing around in them. She’s also very house trained! Once she works out her zoomies, she’s super easy on a leash. She’s a super cuddly young pup, and loves to lean against her human for pets and scratches. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 71 Age: 4yrs 8mths 3wks

Story
Princess arrived with her best girl friend from home, Catrina, after their very elderly owner could no longer care for them. They spent a good deal of time outdoors yet appear to be very housetrained. Today we would like to get them to a safe indoors home with extra outdoor privileges that they will love.Princess is adapting more slowly than her friend Catrina, who gives her nudges and asks her to have confidence, but steady progress is being made.See them together hereWe are looking for the good deed do'er who's ready to help a couple of older ladies pass through the shelter to the next chapters of their life. Their advocates at Classic Canines are ready to provide the extra support needed. Story
Minnie is an 9 month old puppy. She showed up on our property and never left. She already had a collar. We believe she was dumped. She's a sweetheart with tons of puppy energy, and is also a big snuggler. We considered keeping her, but she isn't good with our chickens. She gets along with our other dog, as long as there are no treats one dog has that the other doesn't. She's very interested in my cats, but I haven't really given them the chance to see what kind of interest. She's definitely not having the same prey drive response as she does with the chickens, so I think there could be a potential to teach her to be good with cats. She didn't have any training at all when she showed up, but we've taught her a few things. She's smart, and motivated by treats and praise/affection. She's updated on shots, and partially crate trained. When there was a bad storm I brought her inside and she slept in the bed with me with no issues.
