Story
🐾 Meet Buster Brown 🐾 The goodest boy with a past he won’t tell! Buster Brown is one of those dogs who makes you stop and say, “How is this dog still waiting for his person?” Found wandering the streets of Hempstead, TX, Buster was picked up by the local Sheriff in hopes his family would come for him. They never did. After a month with no owner found, rescue stepped in — and we quickly realized this boy is something special. We may not know Buster’s breed (bulldog? rottie? bully mix? mystery hunk?), but what we do know is that he’s young, healthy, and clearly loved by someone at some point. This isn’t a dog who’s never known home life — he remembers it. ✨ Buster already knows: ✔ Sit ✔ Stay ✔ Come ✔ Go ✔ Drop ✔ Heel He walks beautifully on leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and has the kind of calm, loving presence that makes you feel instantly at ease. Buster is affectionate without being overwhelming, attentive without being needy — truly the definition of a well-rounded companion. Buster doesn’t ask for much — just a home where he’s seen, loved, and never forgotten again. If you’re looking for a dog who already knows how to be a family member and will meet you with quiet devotion and a wagging tail, Buster Brown is your guy. Fostered in Austin, TX. If transported out of TX, fee would be $400. Apply here to know more about this hunk: https://www.centraltexasruffugees.org/copy-of-foster

Story
Rumble is a bright, affectionate girl with a gentle soul and a big heart for her people. She is an incredibly quick learner who loves positive interaction and has already shown how eager she is to please. Rumble is very cuddly and enjoys being close, making her a wonderful companion for cozy evenings at home. Despite being a former stray, Rumble walks beautifully on a leash and is a joy to take out and about. She enjoys the company of other dogs — whether it’s playful romps or simply being near them — and takes comfort in social settings. Rumble has excellent recall and naturally stays close to her people, preferring connection over wandering. Rumble’s calm, people-focused nature makes her an easy dog to live with, and her intelligence means she will continue to thrive as she settles into a loving home. She would do wonderfully with adopters looking for a loyal companion who is both playful and affectionate, and who values being part of the family.

Story
Macaroni is a quiet little observer who prefers cozy corners, gentle routines, and the comfort of a calm home. Macaroni is a soft-hearted, thoughtful boy who enjoys the quiet side of life. This gentle soul loves having a cozy spot to relax while he takes in the world around him — his favorite places are in bedroom closets, crates with blankets, or corners with beds where he can feel safe and watch the world from a distance. Macaroni is still learning that new people can be trusted, so he appreciates a home that will move at his pace and give him space to settle in. While he’s not quite ready for hands-on affection yet, he’s already making progress and gaining confidence every day. One thing that helps Macaroni feel more comfortable is the presence of other dogs. He does well with calm canine friends and would likely enjoy having a steady dog companion to help show him the ropes and remind him that life can be pretty great. He enjoys getting out for walks and exploring the world, usually taking things at his own relaxed pace. A quiet neighborhood and predictable routine will help him feel his best. On walks, he is your shadow, sticking close to his new best friend for confidence. When his person is away, Macaroni settles nicely in his crate and continues to improve with his potty training each day. Macaroni may not be the type of dog who rushes up for attention right away — but for someone who understands shy dogs, the journey of watching him grow and gain confidence will be incredibly special. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, Macaroni has all the potential to blossom into a deeply loyal companion.

Toaster: A Brave, Playful Little Sidekick Toaster is a brave little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. New places and new people can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but with calm, confident guidance, he settles in beautifully and becomes a devoted shadow. Playtime is one of Toaster’s favorite things. He’s a big fan of chasing balls, squeaky toys, and joyful zoomies. He also loves rolling around in grass, blankets, or carpet, fully embracing life’s simple pleasures. His play style is enthusiastic, he likes clear boundaries and consistency as he learns to channel his excitement. Toaster thrives with structure and routine and does best when he gets regular chances to go outside and reset. He’s fairly quiet overall and has great manners, politely giving space when people are eating nearby. Affectionate, fun-loving, and full of spark, Toaster will do best with experienced, confident dog owners who can provide steady leadership, clear communication, and a predictable environment. This is Sarah! 🫶 She’s a huge cuddle bug that loves EVERYONE but she gets suuuper excited to see my teenage son! She’s clearly been well cared for-her teeth are in great condition and her tongue is really pink and healthy looking . Her owner says she’s about 6 years old and she’s a perfect mix of really playful and loving to just chill and be near you. Tug of war is BY FAR her favorite and we do this multiple times a day which is really fun because she’s really strong and you actually have to try. 😂 Even with a tiny toy she’s very careful not to chomp your fingers-she doesn’t bark when someone knocks on the door or at the boisterous neighbor dogs, loves to cuddle and play, loves back scratchies, potty trained, good car rider, and comes with good food, collar, her toys, long retractable leash, and metal kennel (unnecessary though) does not chew or damage anything other than her toys 🤣 and is an amazing companion. Likely best suited around other med/large doggos or solo cuddles.

Story
She's playful, a goofball & cuddler. She likes socializing especially at daycare, and loves photo day. * She occasionally has allergies, that leads to ear infections. Benadryl has helped. Her big dog leg issues have been alleviated by cold laser therapy. * The fee is to assure you are serious & financially sound. Her belongings and remaining food can accompany her. * I am rehoming her because my health has taken a turn. I am not able to walk her regularly & play with her as often as she'd like. * She prefers to be indoors with her human(s) & to have a playmate. She always loved when I'd dog sit for others. She doesn't swim, so she has a lifevest. * She has an AKC lineage and is DNA confirmed to not have any genetic disorders. * She has been trained to walk on a treadmill with mild supervision. She is adored by any clinic, daycare, and every park she has attended. * Should you submit an application, I will call to arrange a meeting. Please respond back within 3 days.

Abel warms up to people quickly, does well with other dogs, and has a calm, steady presence that makes him a great fit for a variety of homes. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people and enjoy a stable, loving environment. • Male, approx. 1.5 years old • Vaccinated • Neutered • Dog-friendly • Transport available anywhere Abel is ready for a fresh start and a place to finally call home. Story
2/13/2026 Nova III is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Nova! I am a beautiful 1 year old white boxer girl that is an owner surrender due to my family not having room for me. I am an active girl that also happens to be deaf but don't let that shy you away! It is said that I live with and get along with other dogs! I also live with 3 kids (ages 6-18 years) and am good with them! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am crate trained but will find a way out of it if able. I am a young girl and learning, but I will need assistance with house training in my forever home. At night I sleep in a kennel and when the humans must be away, I am good outside but do not like being left alone inside. When outside I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. During my time outdoors it is important for me to have proper supervision because I can not hear cars coming or potential danger. I do not like being alone or in my kennel for a long time but I do love riding in the car, digging, chewing on toys, being around other dogs, and people! If you think I would make a great addition to your home, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!  ##2657224##
