Story
🐻 Meet Teddy! 🐻 We believe Teddy is around 1.5–2 years old—a Rottweiler, Labrador Retriever, and German Shepherd mix. Teddy was found wandering down a highway. He truly embodies what it means to be a gentle soul. He’s calm and cuddly, always happy to be by your side. Imagine having a best friend who leans in close, rests his head on your lap, and makes your day just a little better—that’s Teddy! Teddy is also incredibly smart—he already knows how to sit and listens very well. He picks up new commands quickly and is eager to please. He gets along great with other animals and has such an easygoing personality. He didn’t deserve to be left behind… but now he deserves a forever home where he’ll never be forgotten again. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend, Teddy is your boy 🐾💛 📩 Interested in adopting or fostering Teddy? Story
🐾 Meet Buster Brown 🐾 The goodest boy with a past he won’t tell! Buster Brown is one of those dogs who makes you stop and say, “How is this dog still waiting for his person?” Found wandering the streets of Hempstead, TX, Buster was picked up by the local Sheriff in hopes his family would come for him. They never did. After a month with no owner found, rescue stepped in — and we quickly realized this boy is something special. We may not know Buster’s breed (bulldog? rottie? bully mix? mystery hunk?), but what we do know is that he’s young, healthy, and clearly loved by someone at some point. This isn’t a dog who’s never known home life — he remembers it. ✨ Buster already knows: ✔ Sit ✔ Stay ✔ Come ✔ Go ✔ Drop ✔ Heel He walks beautifully on leash, is crate trained & potty trained. Buster is affectionate without being overwhelming, attentive without being needy — truly the definition of a well-rounded companion. Buster doesn’t ask for much — just a home where he’s seen, loved, and never forgotten again. If you’re looking for a dog who already knows how to be a family member and will meet you with quiet devotion and a wagging tail, Buster Brown is your guy. Available for adoption in the Austin Texas area only. Apply here to know more about this hunk: https://www.centraltexasruffugees.org/copy-of-foster

Story
Macaroni is a quiet little observer who prefers cozy corners, gentle routines, and the comfort of a calm home. Macaroni is a soft-hearted, thoughtful boy who enjoys the quiet side of life. This gentle soul loves having a cozy spot to relax while he takes in the world around him — his favorite places are in bedroom closets, crates with blankets, or corners with beds where he can feel safe and watch the world from a distance. Macaroni is still learning that new people can be trusted, so he appreciates a home that will move at his pace and give him space to settle in. While he’s not quite ready for hands-on affection yet, he’s already making progress and gaining confidence every day. One thing that helps Macaroni feel more comfortable is the presence of other dogs. He does well with calm canine friends and would likely enjoy having a steady dog companion to help show him the ropes and remind him that life can be pretty great. He enjoys getting out for walks and exploring the world, usually taking things at his own relaxed pace. A quiet neighborhood and predictable routine will help him feel his best. On walks, he is your shadow, sticking close to his new best friend for confidence. When his person is away, Macaroni settles nicely in his crate and is potty trained, so no worries about leaving him for a while. Macaroni may not be the type of dog who rushes up for attention right away — but for someone who understands shy dogs, the journey of watching him grow and gain confidence will be incredibly special. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, Macaroni has all the potential to blossom into a deeply loyal companion.

Story
Rumble is a bright, affectionate girl with a gentle soul and a big heart for her people. She is an incredibly quick learner who loves positive interaction and has already shown how eager she is to please. Rumble is very cuddly and enjoys being close, making her a wonderful companion for cozy evenings at home. Despite being a former stray, Rumble walks beautifully on a leash and is a joy to take out and about. She enjoys the company of other dogs — whether it’s playful romps or simply being near them — and takes comfort in social settings. Rumble has excellent recall and naturally stays close to her people, preferring connection over wandering. Rumble’s calm, people-focused nature makes her an easy dog to live with, and her intelligence means she will continue to thrive as she settles into a loving home. She would do wonderfully with adopters looking for a loyal companion who is both playful and affectionate, and who values being part of the family.

Story
Toaster: A Brave, Playful Little Sidekick Toaster is a brave little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. New places and new people can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but with calm, confident guidance, he settles in beautifully and becomes a devoted shadow. Playtime is one of Toaster’s favorite things. He’s a big fan of chasing balls, squeaky toys, and joyful zoomies. He also loves rolling around in grass, blankets, or carpet, fully embracing life’s simple pleasures. His play style is enthusiastic, he likes clear boundaries and consistency as he learns to channel his excitement. Toaster thrives with structure and routine and does best when he gets regular chances to go outside and reset. He’s fairly quiet overall and has great manners, politely giving space when people are eating nearby. Affectionate, fun-loving, and full of spark, Toaster will do best with experienced, confident dog owners who can provide steady leadership, clear communication, and a predictable environment. In the right home, he’ll shine as a playful companion and loyal sidekick. If you’re looking for a dog with heart, personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Toaster is ready to toast his way into your life.

Story
A loving, playful, goofball. She likes socializing especially at daycare and the vet... where she is loved, especially on photo day.* She occasionally has allergies, that leads to ear infections. Benadryl has helped. Her big dog leg issues have been lessened by cold laser therapy. * The fee is just enough to assure you are serious, & financially sound. Her remaining food and her belongings will accompany her. * I am rehoming her because my health has taken a turn. I am not able to walk her regularly & play with her as often as she'd like. * She's needs to live indoors with her human(s). She always loved when I'd dog sit for others, so having a sibling would be great. I don't know if she can swim, so she has a lifevest.* She has been trained to walk on a treadmill with mild supervision. * Should you submit an application, I will reach out to you so we can arrange a meeting. Please respond back within 3 days.

Story
2/13/2026 Nova III is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Nova! I am a beautiful 1 year old white boxer girl that is an owner surrender due to my family not having room for me. I am an active girl that also happens to be deaf but don't let that shy you away! It is said that I live with and get along with other dogs! I also live with 3 kids (ages 6-18 years) and am good with them! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am crate trained but will find a way out of it if able. I am a young girl and learning, but I will need assistance with house training in my forever home. At night I sleep in a kennel and when the humans must be away, I am good outside but do not like being left alone inside. When outside I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. During my time outdoors it is important for me to have proper supervision because I can not hear cars coming or potential danger. I do not like being alone or in my kennel for a long time but I do love riding in the car, digging, chewing on toys, being around other dogs, and people! If you think I would make a great addition to your home, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!  ##2657224##

Story
Hi! My name is Ebba! I am a beautiful 10 year old flashy fawn lady! No information is known about my history but I'm looking forward to my forever family now! I am energetic when I am first let out of my crate, but settle quickly. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I enjoy my evening walks and have been learning house rules and manners while settling nicely into daily routines. My foster home does not have kids so a proper introduction would be needed. I happily follow my foster mom around the house and am a world champion snuggler! I am an avid squirrel chaser and would chase them up the tree if I could, so I need to live in a cat free and small animal free home. Because I have a high prey drive with the squirrels, my foster mom doesn't leave me in the backyard unattended. I can be a bit bossy and protective so it would be best for me if I was the only dog in the home or paired with a passive male. If you are looking for a well mannered, snuggly lady, here I am! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
