She must have a foster or adopter committed in order to secure her spot on the transport. Meet Blossom Blossom is a 3-year-old rottweiler mix whose surrender had nothing to do with her. She previously lived in an apartment with a family but was surrendered simply because the household was not allowed to have three dogs. Blossom is incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of love. She does well with other dogs and with children, and her calm, affectionate nature makes her an easy companion. Her soulful eyes are ready to see the world from a brighter, happier point of view. She is potty trained and crate trained, walks decently on leash, and already understands how to live in a home. Blossom is heartworm negative and would transition easily into a variety of households. She can be cat tested if needed. Blossom is ready to settle into a home where she can feel secure again and be cherished the way she deserves. Age: 3 years Gender: Female Weight: about 60lbs Breed: Rottweiler mix Spayed: Yes Heartworm: Negative Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Can be cat tested Good with Kids: Yes Blossom has so much love to give and is ready for her next chapter. Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. Story
Hi there! My name is Apollo, and I'm an energetic, playful young guy who's ready to find a home that can keep up with me! I'm a young boy and still very much in my "let's do something!" phase of life. I love to play and hang out with my people as much as possible! I'm super food-motivated, which means I'm smart and eager to learn - especially when treats are involved! With consistent training and structure, I have tons of potential to keep improving! I'm friendly and affectionate, and I'm still working on my manners. I promise that with some training and structure, I can learn to be the best dog I can be! While I am friendly with everyone, I would do best with older children in my future home that can handle my enthusiasm. I've lived with other dogs before and overall did well, so I think I could do so again if it is the right fit! I'd love an active home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and keeping my brain busy. At the end of a busy day, though, I'm happy to relax nearby after I've had a chance to burn off my energy! If you're looking for a fun, high-energy companion and are ready to invest time into training and structure, I might just be your guy! I'm looking for someone who sees my potential and is excited to help me grow into the best version of myself! Primary Color: Brown Weight: 71.6 Age: 0yrs 9mths 2wks

Story
Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) All dogs/cats can be adopted in all locations below, regardless of where they are posted.
