Boots was adopted from a rescue at about a year old and not much is known about her early life. She is very affectionate and playful, but doesn’t seem to understand her own size and can be too rough with small children and small animals. She would do best in a house with only other large dogs (no cats!!). A fenced in yard is also preferred.

Hi there! My name is Apollo, and I'm an energetic, playful young guy who's ready to find a home that can keep up with me! I'm a young boy and still very much in my "let's do something!" phase of life. I love to play and hang out with my people as much as possible! I'm super food-motivated, which means I'm smart and eager to learn - especially when treats are involved! With consistent training and structure, I have tons of potential to keep improving! I'm friendly and affectionate, and I'm still working on my manners. I promise that with some training and structure, I can learn to be the best dog I can be! While I am friendly with everyone, I would do best with older children in my future home that can handle my enthusiasm. I've lived with other dogs before and overall did well, so I think I could do so again if it is the right fit! I'd love an active home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and keeping my brain busy. At the end of a busy day, though, I'm happy to relax nearby after I've had a chance to burn off my energy! If you're looking for a fun, high-energy companion and are ready to invest time into training and structure, I might just be your guy! COURTESY POST: (this dog is not currently at our shelter - we are not aware of any veterinary history) Cooper is a rottweiler/boxer mix. He was born on 4-9-25. Cooper is great with kids, though he loves to jump on them. He is great with other dogs and he loves to play. Cooper is ok with cats (he does chase after them sometimes). He is a great dog!
