Romeo is new to DHS, arriving from another shelter on 12/17. He looks to be a Rottie mix, possibly with Doberman? What we know about Romeo so far is: He LOVES other dogs, he is silly, goofy, and will play all day long. Romeo is a smart boy; he knows a few commands but is so eager to learn more! He loves people; he cannot get enough of you! Romeo will be turning 1 yo in Jan! We will update his bio as we learn more about him.

I`m a super sweet and friendly Rottweiler who absolutely adores people and believes a good belly rub is life`s greatest pleasure! At a `sturdy` 95 pounds and 5 years young, I`m the perfect age—I`m housebroken, incredibly docile, smart, and easy to train. I`m the ideal blend of playful and chill! I promise to fill your days with smiles, tail wags, and lots of cuddles. I can be a bit selective about my dog friends and would prefer male playmates. If you`re looking for a sweet, social, and chill companion to love and be loved by, then I`m your girl! Apply to meet me!NOTE: every dog, cat and child will react differently to a new pet, so proper and safe introductions are always important for a smooth and successful transition.Adoption fee is $225.We do not have open hours for public viewing of our adoptable animals. Popsicle spent over two years in a neglected rural shelter before being rescued — she was just a name on a forgotten list. But even after all that time, she’s full of joy, wiggles, and affection. Now thriving in her foster home, Popsicle is gaining confidence every day. She’s goofy, playful, and so eager to be part of a family. Whether she’s trotting alongside you on an adventure or curled up by your side for a snuggle, she just wants to love and be loved. She gets along well with other dogs but she prefers to keep high value things to herself so she utilizes her kennel for high value items. Popsicle is in fact so happy she has her tail amputated due to injury from constant wagging! This girl has come so far. All she needs now is a forever home where she’ll never be overlooked again.
