Meet Luther 🖤🐾 The kind soul with 3 legs Luther is a 2-year-old, 75-lb Rottweiler with a big heart, a loyal soul, and just three legs—don’t let that fool you though, because this guy is perfectly agile and keeps up like a champ. He’s living proof that tripods do not miss a beat. True to his Rottie roots, Luther is a devoted protector who bonds deeply with his people. He lives for snuggles, loves being close to his humans, and truly believes his favorite place is wherever you are—especially if your hand is available for pets (his absolute favorite thing in the world). Luther is a bone and Kong enthusiast, highly treat-motivated, and loves learning new tricks. Training with him is a joy because he’s eager, smart, and very motivated to please. He gets along well with other dogs and is, quite frankly, 100% a good boy. A few important notes for his forever home: • 🐱 No cats please—Luther thinks chasing them is a full-time job • 🐶 Dog-friendly overall • 🏠 He may resource guard his kennel at bedtime (when he is tucked inside) if another dog walks by, which is a common and manageable dog behavior (and easily avoided with simple routines) . Luther has zero health issues, is fully agile, and is up to date on all vaccinations. He’s strong, loving, goofy, loyal, and ready to be someone’s very best friend. Romeo is a handsome 1-year-old boy who seems to be a mixture of Rottweiler and possibly Doberman.Romeo spent a few weeks in a foster home, and what we learned was! He LOVES other dogs, he is silly, goofy, and will play all day long. He does like to play rough, so a dog his size or larger would be best for safety. Romeo is a smart boy; he knows a few commands but is so eager to learn more! He is house-trained and does use bells at the door. He loves going for walks, but off-leash zoomies are his favorite! He does super well with people, once he has been able to give a good sniff. If startled, he will jump and back up, but he is quick to recover and enjoys being around people. *Boeing is currently being fostered at a Training Facility. Interested adopters will have an appointment scheduled to meet him after an adoption application has been approved Meet Boeing! Boeing is 1-2 years old and is thought to be a Hound/Boxer type mix. We can't know for sure without a DNA test, but we do know that he's 40 ish pounds of pure bred CUTE! Boeing came to us from another WI shelter because they were full/over capacity. Before that, Boeing belonged to someone who had unfortunately dumped him on a pretty busy road. As soon as the owner was contacted and confronted about his abandonment, they halted all contact with authorities and the shelter employees were never able to learn his real name. We do wish that we could find him justice, but at the end of the day, it's most important that he's safe and now he's ready to find a family who would never even think of doing something like that to him. No dog deserves that! Boeing is the sweetest boy. He's friendly, protective, active, seems to loves car rides & knows basic commands! He is one of the smartest dogs you could ever meet. He's young, so his new family should expect to continue any training needs he may still have. He should do well with other dogs and kids as long as everyone is properly introduced and supervised. We were told by the other shelter that he seems overly-interested around kitties, so he could potentially do well with the right experienced owner. Boeing has been severely let down by humans, which is hard to think about. However, all we can do now is focus on his bright & happy future!
