Story
Moka Age: 5 yrs Sex: Male, neutered Breed: Russian Blue mix This is a courtesy posting. Please contact Victor at 651-795-1007 This is a wonderfully sweet cat named Moka. He is a 5 year old Russian Blue. It breaks my heart to have to re-home him. I adopted him as a bonded pair with his Sister, who he got along with so adorably the first two years I had them. Unfortunately, as happens sometimes as cats get older, a freak accident where she got caught on her bed really scared him and he became aggressive towards her. The problem unfortunately could not be resolved with diffusers, reintroduction method, or medications and he would periodically get in fights with her. He did not do this behavior before his sister got caught on her bed and he got scared. It was recently discovered that Moka's problem was a medical condition that was easily treated. I think he would really thrive with someone who could spend a lot of time with him in a SINGLE cat household in which he is the star of the show. My favorite things about Moka: his continuous affection, in which he follows me from room to room, his happy purrs, especially when he rolls over for a chest rub and drools with happiness. He isn't a lap sitter on his own but he will set next to you and you can put him on your lap for pets and he will fall asleep. He loves to play with wands (chasing, hide-and-seek, jumps in the air). He will do best with a cat-experienced person. Currently he is staying at the Kona Garden at the Humane Society of Silicon Valley but caring for him will give you unbelievable rewards if you can give him a safe, supportive, loving home. Moka is an Indoor Only cat. He will need time to adjust to a new home. Adoption must be in the local San Francisco Bay Area. Moka will do best in a calm home with adults, without children or dogs. He is an Indoor-Cat. For more information on Moka please contact Victor at 651-795-1007

Story
MODESTO, CA:  Meet Winston, a friendly kitty who loves humans! As soon as he gets the chance, he strokes against your legs or just rests next to you. Winston is a Russian Blue-mix cat with silky, shiny fur and a little bit of white on his belly. Winston was born in approximately September 2025. He is a gentle giant for sure, and already weighs 12 lbs! He is good with children, and will definitely get along with a playful cat or kitten after a slow and careful introduction. Winston has been neutered, is up to date on his shots, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. This is a Courtesy Post, and Winston is with the Cat Network of Stanislaus in Modesto, California. For more information, please contact Monica at adopt@catnetworkofstanislaus.org or 209-735-0604. Visit their website at https://catnetworkofstanislaus.org/.   April 28, 2026, 3:06 am

Story
He is a fun 8 week old boy who recently got sprung from the local shelter. He would love to be adopted with his brother or have a fun playful cat at home. Here are great links to help you transition with your new Cat/kitten. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/bringing-home-your-new-kitten https://www.meowfoundation.com/resources/new-cat/ Please give your new kitten/cat time to acclimate to your home. It’s called the rule of 3/3/3. The first 3 days your new pet will be unsettled and scared, unsure of what’s going on. About 3 weeks your new pet will start to feel at home and more confident. Within 3 months your new pet will feel safe and secure that he/she has finally found a final forever home. Smooth Transitions A new cat/kitten should be isolated in one room (a bathroom is best so he/she can’t hide under a bed or couch) for 7-10 days. This also allows the cats to become familiar with the sounds and scents of the house. If you have other cat(s) and/or dogs this allows for proper introductions for each other before meeting, which tends to smooth out the first encounter considerably. Make sure you spend lots of quality time with your new cat/kitten during the isolation period so that he/she associates the new smells and sounds of the new cat with positive attention. Eventually, you may introduce the new cat within a carrier to the other cat and judge the response. When the introduction response becomes neutral or calmly interested, a barrier-free meeting may be in order. Trust your read on the mood between the cats. We feed our kittens/cats Kirkland brand cat/kitten food.. Make sure to transition onto the food you will be feeding slowly to help from getting loose stool, continued diarrhea can cause dehydration and can become a medical emergency. PLEASE TAKE THE STEPS NEEDED TO REGISTER YOUR PET’S MICROCHIP We are a 100% volunteer run organization. We are always looking for amazing volunteers.
